    Silencer outlet? definitely No.

as @ynike99 put it, its probably the fuel/coolant overflow pipe. I checked the parts manual, it did show a Y connector.
I did not know until now that the rc had a Y connector joining the fuel and coolant overflow (the duke's have independent outlets for the fuel and coolant overflow, with the coolant overflow being hidden under fuel tank cover). Would appreciate if someone posted a pic showing the pic from their bikes (or i'd have to wait and check at my svc the next time i visit)

On a general note, these are the probable sources of the hoses that dangle under a bike:
    1. Carburetor overflow/drain pipe (not present on ktm)
    2. Battery breather hose (battery is sealed maintenance free with no breather hose)
    3. Fuel tank vent hose (present on the ktm's)
    4. Coolant overflow (present on the ktm's)
    5. Crankcase breather pipe (present on the ktm's but is closed on the end with a small transparent plastic cap and you can see if on the lhs above the side stand area) This usually collects a bit of oil (due to the crankcase pressure/venting) over time and you can remove it and clean it out and put it back on.

Its indeed a y joint which has fuel and coolant overflow pipe joining at the y joint. I have checked removed the pipe when i had removed my tank. Also if care is not taken, there have been cases of the space near fuel cap being filled with coolant. Ensure that bottom of pipe stays clear always.
      Motorcycling heals, big time...

Thanks for the confirmation.. glad to hear it from someone who has seen it, rather than some random speculation/assumption (which are dime a dozen on the internet).
I had a doubt because there are minor differences in the local vs export models depending on the country. For e.g. EU models come with an evaporator canister.

15100km on the odo today and going to be 1year this sept. Still in love with the bike.😍😍 Saw the engine oil level to be less than min so topped up 😊😊 . No trace of oil weep. Thank god😌😌. Rear tyre michelin pilot street radial 150 and front still running with the metz 😆. Michelin is a great tyre replaced the rear metz at 12000km, good grip, no puncture till now, and the tyre looks a bit wider than the metz😋😋. Thinking of changing into engine ice soon. And maybe to motul 300v as well but not sure. Ride safe everyone..

                      Yup
I got this done from Devraj/DVJ auto tech
He happens to be a good friend of mine and I wanted this mod since day one, so after poking him a few times he did this mod on my bike.

                        Just for info...
As I prefer doing my own service I got all the stuff needed for a routine service:
Oil needed 1.5 liters Rs 1600 (I had to buy two 1litre Motul cans)
The rest of the cost was Rs 500 (including labour charge Rs50 (lol) for supplying) which included:
                        Oil Filter
                        O-ring
                        Air filter
                        Fuel Filter

Also bought a clutch lever as mine was bent Rs 102
Also awaiting the part no JY541251 for softening the clutch about Rs 100

Bought from KTM Banjara Hills. Chap called Raju was most helpful at the parts counter!! Also required are Bike details including chassis number as he said they have to put this on the invoice!!!!!!

                          Thats good.
Oil Filter, O-ring, Air filter can be changed on own but chaning fuel filter looks challenging as you you need to completely remove fuel tank.

Everything is pretty easy as long as you know what you're doing. Regarding oil, there're two drain bolts on the 390. While filling up, fill 1.6L. Thats the recommended.

Well, to stick to basics, any stickering shop that has a good reputation of doing any sort of vinyling done is a good choice to consider. As a matter of fact, the only competence that comes into play is the removal and installation of the windscreen if in case that's required, but some skilled ones don't even do that, if it's just done externally, for both sides, I'd suggest you remove and do the stickering.

                                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                                THE END
