KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
So I was bored and went to meet my dad on my bike to his village raebarelli which is around 80kms away from Lucknow
Well he was angry and shocked to see me coming on my bike
While returning to lucknow he was on his bike and he was like "Zaid you're gonna stay behind me all the time and that too at the left side" he was on his Thunderbird and was cruising at speed not more than 70 [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]
This was literally the slowest I have ever been and took me 2.5 hours to reach back lucknow and whereas it took me 47 minutes to reach raebarelli
But while reaching lucknow and looking at the speedo I was shocked
The bike was giving a mileage of whopping 39-41
The speed I was driving was usually 70 at 6th gear and below 70 at 5th
Never went about 75
Ps. My usually city mileage is around 18 and highway 21

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Yes driving around 6k-7k rpm gives best mileage, when I rode with pillion cant drive fast and in that case bike returns 27-28 kmpl (tank to tank method)Originally posted by DoubleagentZ View Post

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
70-75 in 6th gear means you have slipped the clutch which causes premature clutch wear. Don't do it again for long stretches, it will wear out the clutch faster.Originally posted by DoubleagentZ View Post

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
So I saw the 2017 RC 390 and I noticed something really nice. The Fuel Guage seems to be new. 2 bars don't disappear now, they go one by one. Can someone tell me if this has something to do with both the new ECU and the new Sensor or just the new Sensor. I'd be really happy to get mine swapped for the new sensor.

Kindly follow the diagram over chain cover to maintain the adequate chain slacknessOriginally posted by kunal2428 View PostAfter i cleaned the chain and lubed and tightened it.
I noticed that it is making some weird noise.
