I have been using Tribocor TC 28 (I hope you intended to mean that. TC205 is a cleaner) since day 1. It is indeed sticky and damn thick. Somehow, the thickness part makes it difficult for me to apply taking a long time hence. The lube though lasts about 500kms on moderate riding.

However, I did observe the lube sprays far less than something like OKS which service center guy used during service. Also, whatever amount that sprays on the rims can be wiped easily with a soft dry cloth.

TC 28 is a heavy duty cleaner and the TC205 is the thick lube mate. I have purchased the cans as well

Guys try once 3M lube. Its better than Motul IMO. Its less sticky and lost for 500km. I am using this on my ninja 300..

Guys please shed some light on crash guards for the forks\pegs\rear swing arm
I shall be opting for a Zero-Dep insurance. Would the above mentioned things(the crash damage mentioned by Abeer) be covered under it??
            Yes it does!
            But there's no point
You'd rather end up getting those replaced by yourself
The Foot peg costs about ₹250
            The foot brake lever- ₹335
And the right side clip on handlebar- ₹350
            (Delhi)

This is justified considering the parts are being locally manufactured by Bajaj and the quality is also very poorClick image for larger version

Guys, I have purchased the Viaterra Claw tail bag for my RC390. The two strap mounts for the side I have no issues with mounting. How do I mount the 3rd or the rear strap mount? I can only find videos of the bag being mounted on the D200 and I've noticed the indicators on the RC are not as close to the rear brake lights like those on the Duke's.
Anyone else currently using the CLAW?

well the temperature issue looks to be sorted now, ya there was a loose wire connecting to the temperature sensor and some fuses had problem so got them rectified all good as of now.

Sure will post some pics soon.
The ride to from bangalore to hyderabad was awesome , there was no back pain what so ever but ya sometimes when you are riding for more than an hour continuosly you start getting wrist pain, for me the pain was in my left wrist.

Performance wise felt just awesome and RC feels butter smooth when riding between 120 to 130.

Viaterra claw was just sperb, the fit was perfect and I went through some big bumps even then the bag didnt move from its place, great fit.

Attaching some pics of viaterra mounted on the RC.Click image for larger version

I have a question regarding the service of the bike. My bike'a service is due in next 10 days. The question is do they open the side faring while servicing (like disassembling and then assembling again)? And the second question is I doubt their engine oil which they keep in their tanker, I am thinking to buy 1.6ltrs from outside (7100 from motul) and then go from the service. If I'll do this then how much would be the servicing charge would be?

They open the lower belly pan of the fairing not the side fairing. They then assemble it back after the wash.
Also you can carry the oil, that will drop ithink 1300(or 1700 I forget but the cost of oil wont be included) rs from the service cost.
So my service cost was 400 rs apart from the oil cost so you might have to pay something in that range.

Thanx and I have some heating issue as I ride a lot in city compare to highway is it okay to change the coolant now during the 1st service? And if yes then which coolant would be the best?

This bike heats up normally , there is no need to change the coolant at all, this bike runs hot.
Have you faced the over heating issue frequently ? Does the bike stop a lot if the temperature is above critical temp and doesn't start until it cools down.
If not then there is no need to change the coolant just check the level of coolant and ask asc to top up if necessary ( caution the level should be less than the half of the min max distance when the bike is cold, else chance of coolant spilling since coolant expands when it heats up).

As far as i know, the motul oil's are not supplied in drums even at the svc. Only the bajaj dtsi oil comes in those huge drums.
They will give you two bottles 1litre x 2 and you take the remaining oil home or just pay for what is used, and leave the rest with the svc. Though you could get the motul 7100 for a lower price outside (maybe around 50rs cheaper)
Other than the oil, the only part that requires replacement will be the oil filter. So you pay for it.
Plus they might charge for chain lube (i am lucky that my svc doesnt charge for chain clean/lube) + 'consumables' (around 100rs.. its a scam if you ask me)
