Thanx, no the bike doesn't heats up till critical temp. Was just wondering if the aftermarket coolant can keep the reading around 5-7 bars and keep the fan minimal. As the fan kicks in every now and then.

Don't worry about the vibrations. They will reduce gradually. By 1000 kms, things will improve drastically. The cost of first service is generally cost of oil change (about 1200) and cost of chain lube (about 100).

how did you mount the rear strrap?? I have no issues with the side straps. just skeptical of taking it around the indicators as shown in the video. I feel the indicators will break

Well you will have two options, the smaller one will cost 2500 and the bigger one will cost around 2900.

The question is do they open the side faring while servicing (like disassembling and then assembling again)? And the second question is I doubt their engine oil which they keep in their tanker, I am thinking to buy 1.6ltrs from outside (7100 from motul) and then go from the service. If I'll do this then how much would be the servicing charge would be?
I just got my bike serviced yesterday. Yes, they do open the lower part of the fairing.
The guys at svc used Motul 7100 oil. The guy got 2 sealed bottles and he did show me to verify the genuity. Though they charged me for 2ltrs, the guy promptly asked me to take the rest of half bottle home and get it for next service.

The servicing with wax polishing came upto 2100. the oil alone was 850-860. So if you were to take the Oil from outside, You would have to barely pay 100bucks.

Motul 300v 15-50 if down south India were temperature hit 32+ is best bet u can get about 6-10k kmout of them on sbk generally. 10-40 is recommendation if you up north were can temp goes low as -10 degrees.

The RC390 is a sweet ride just handle it with care

Does the bottom scrape out in corners and hairpins?

well, if you're going knee down in the corners, then I think it does scrape. I've scrapped the bottom on a speed breaker that was on a down slope with a relatively heavy pillion. I'm quite sure normally, out on the public roads going knee down is quite risky and very seldom tried. Out on the track I'm sure scrapping fairing in extreme lean angles is quite sure and it wont be a good thing if you are scrapping plastic while leaning!!!
