guys this is about the heating issue, low power in low rpms with pillion and burning smell..
i took my 2000 km clocked sf to service guys, they rode the bike for few kms and reported clutch play is too much. they
tightened clutch play, chain, loosened accelerator play...and for all the issues i got only answer from them is (obviously ) its normal and will fade away once u
hit 5000 km, mechanic also suggested me to ride it below 4.5k rpm for those 5000 kms
none of them is as said in book, but thats all they got
final words we should live with the issues i guess

What is the mileage difference in Gixxer SF and Gixxer SF-FI, considering same rider rides both with same style. Please provide figurative answer( not like, it depends on riding conditions, city, highway, riding style etc.).

        Thank you.
I have a gixxer sf, roughly 10 months old. Done 18000+ km till date. I get an average of 35 kpl, but let me explain my riding style further.
        My riding style-
I ride alone 25 % of the time and with a pillion (55kg) for the rest.
I tend to stick to the almost perfect roads in delhi, and tend to avoid traffic hours.
I accelerate hard, and try to maintain a speed of 70-95(speedo indicated). I go beyond 100 everyday, though rarely for long.

Highway/expressway runs- typically at full throttle and 100 plus speeds. I get 37 kpl her.

Yamuna expressway- at constant 118 (speedo) almost throughout - 33 kpl

Chandigarh highway run- 80 to 100 kph most of the time (best figure 40 kpl).

This kind of promotion should NOT be done by any means under any circumstances.

Frame sliders and "jugaad" should not be present in the same sentence. Thats just a recipe for disaster. Did you even watch the video before posting it? On the right side, the bracket is mounted to the clutch casing by a Single Bolt and on the left side, its hanging with a Single bolt thats mounted to the engine block

Can you imagine whats gonna happen if the bike goes into a sliding crash? A very high chance that it will simply fail and the engine will get severely damaged.

Frame sliders are supposed to be mounted to the frame (chassis) not the engine. If you know this person advice him to remove those.

The fairings are DIRT CHEAP. If the engine gets damaged, it will cost him more to fix that than the fairings.

Has anyone encountered Suzuki authorized service centers of not allowing people inside the workshop when the vehicle is being serviced?

Advaith automation, K.R Road, Bangalore, didn't allow me to stand in front of the vehicle for my first service (said that there were cameras recording, an argument which I couldn't make any sense), and asked me to stand in the customer bay.

They only allowed me to see when they poured in new oil.

Any recommendations for ASCs in Bangalore?

Guys have been noticing that, on long highway journeys, maintaining 85-90 at 6k constant RPM, the mileage is too low. Almost 30 to 35. Is it because the engine is getting stressed ?!

Has anyone used NGK Iridium spark plugs on gixxer sf? Need help selecting the part number. Can't find it on their website.

No, because it is sucking in almost double the air-fuel mixture than running at 3500-4000 rpm. If I were you, I would run it one cycle (reserve to reserve) at 4000-4500 rpm all the time with gentlest acceleration and won't worry if it returned 50-55 kmpl.

Normal, for your own (customer) safety.

Hey but come on man on Highway rides we need to be at minimum 80s if we need to cover our destination. And that's not some overly dangerous speeds. I'm not even talking about 110 or 120s. Even at 80-90 such drastically low mileage I get, whereas when commuting in city I get decent FE. And this I've noticed because I do one or two single day rides every month to the places around Bangalore outskirts.

If you get decent FE in the city, nothing is majorly wrong with the bike or your riding style, so don't worry. What is the FE in the city ? I wonder how much others are getting while cruising at 80-90s.

My front disc of Suzuki gixxer sf 2016 is having problem. When applied front brake, the braking is not continuous, works like third class ABS though it is not abs. Jerks while breaking. Getting shoulder pain due to such back and forth movement while breaking. Can I claim this from bybre company. As it is not covered by Suzuki.
