They only allowed me to see when they poured in new oil.

Any recommendations for ASCs in Bangalore?
I service my Gixxer SF Fi at Aerolex Motors, Lalbagh Road. Their service is pretty decent. Service centers don't usually let people in to their workshops because we get to see all the sh*t they do to our bikes. The workshops are situated on the 3rd and 4th floor. I say a small prayer every time I hear a poor bike being redlined continuously for no apparent reason. This goes on all day.

There is no loss of power as of now, it is much refined than before but whenever i decelerate i hear some faulty bearing sound from the front part, the sound is bassy like you mentioned, its 1100KMS since i changed the oil to 300v.

You may be right but i think there is also something else. Please see my previous post regarding clutch plates being dry and tell what you think about that. And i'll do as you suggested, will give the bike long run and go to service center and see what they have to say about the smell and that extra sound.

                1. Carburettor knob position?
                2. fuel too low?
                3. Choke open or close?
                4. Idle rpm too low?
                5. None of the above? Take the bike to the SVC

Frame Slider Setup On Gixxer SF
                  Hey buddy,

I would like to add something. The concept of frame slider is such that it should protect the fairings at around zero speed or parking lot drops, they're not meant to protect from high speed crashes.

                  Moreover, basics are,

                  1. that frame sliders should be attached to the frame only, preferably, any other point of connect is usually less than ideal,

                  2. they should be of a lesser durable material & construction, than the frame itself, so that they break but not break the frame instead,

When 2 different but connected components of the same machine are under pressure/ impact, mostly the lesser durable component gets sacrificed first.
Obviously, its better that a frame slider breaks and absorbs some damage, instead of having frame/ engine damaged with frame slider remaining intact... right?

Do work on your concept a little more, as right now, its likely to cause more damage to the engine itself, or cause the nut to loosen, causing maybe oil leakage or maybe the Air fuel inlet pipe might itself break...

We definitely encourage free thinking and creativity, and its good that you tried something on your own.... Try attaching it to the frame but without modifying or welding the frame itself, something like a "Plug it on" should be awesome. And make sure its not too durable & it should get broken/ bent on a strong impact, but not too weak either...

                  Wish you all the best.

Thinking of getting this bike, but what about leg/crash guard?
I have some accidents in past and what I have seen only leg guard in my 100CC bikes have saved me from leg getting fractured.

Isn't this bike will be risky?
Even I try to find out online but I think there is no possible way to add leg guard in this?
                    Please suggest someone.

Dude seriously? Why is that even a question? Have you ever seen a faired bike with crash guards? (except ofc Japanese Police VFRs)

If you want crash/leg guards get the Naked variant

They are usually the monetized channels where the uploader is under pressure from his 'fans' to upload atleast one video a week, they all start with a signature logo/music, have irritating freeware music in most of the the background, videos like 'road rage with an old man', '12 reasons not to buy Gixxer', '22 reasons to buy a Hornet', submerging half a helpless bike in water, revving it and then making a video draining engine oil contaminated with water, crying "so far so good" every 2 minutes trying hard to mimic somebody, stops at the stop line because their SJcam is recording, etc. Run away from those videos.

There are genuine and nice people as well, but I will not take names on either side.

Anyway, if you are concerned about adding a leg guard, get a naked street sport bike like Gixxer/Hornet/FZ. I will leave for others to comment on Suzuki's/SVC service.

                              I get 45-46 in city.

Also regarding the current topic, about service centres, Value Suzuki at Vasanthnagar, Bangalore is a good SVC. I got my fairing fixed and all 4 indicators changed in under 2 hours. (A plate holding the fairing was bent, hence the fairing was not sitting properly on right side).
