    Hi Punarvasu,

    Yes it explains the problem.

I noticed when idle rpm falling below 1000 only I am getting this noise .

I will try to tune RPM today and will let you know the result .

Clutch is bit hard I am not sure it will be like that on all GS 150's

Can some one post SPEED@RPM for 60 70 80 Can cross check on my bike

Thank you so much for your help

60 at 4500, 70 at 5000, 80 at 5800 and 100 at 7500 rpm, approximately if the sprocket ratio is 42/14. At what rpm are you reaching 100 kmh?

Just checked 60 70 80 are logged perfect as mentioned 100 yet to check

just now i noticed engine is really hot after driving 5km itself

RPM i checked when it is hot 1400 at idle

Engine over heating, knocking sound and hard clutch could be related to same issue?

I will upload video of engine noise in the morning .

        Thanks for Info and Help

All engines heats up when fuel is burned in the combustion chamber. We cannot keep the engine cold while it is running. Here the bike or its engine is not to be blamed for it but the heat produced while fuel burning.
Some of the GS owners have done very long trips on their bikes. Never heard about engine seizure or anything like that.
If the clutch feels really hard, get it adjusted at the SC. Do not try to lubricate the clutch cable as it causes cable breakage.
Check the overall condition of the bike and replace the oil, oil filter and air cleaner if necessary go for the planned long trip. Forget the engine heating and knocking.

I am using Castrol 15W-40 Power 1 semi synthetic after first servicing. My bike is about 5 years and 41,000 kms old.

Finally trip cancelled Just before starting went to ABT Suzuki service center (NOT SMK SUZUKI this time)

There one senior mechanic and 2 Mechanics tested engine.

All of them confirmed same Problem in engine Piston, crank shaft ,Clutch plates etc etc need to change

Will cost me around 10k or less

                  Long Trip Not advisable

                  Uploaded engine Noise Please check

I went to SVC again because afternoon I drove around 10 KM in Traffic Oh GOd I felt my legs are Burning

To the best of my knowledge the arrow should point towards the direction the wheel rotates. So up I believe.

The gap between disc and pads is less than 1 mm and there is no special spring like mechanism to retract the pads. So the pads are always in contact with the disc. This is why the disc becomes warm while riding even if the brake is not applied. And the wheel does not spin more than 2-2.5 turns when rotated by hand. If that is the condition, leave it as it is.
The rubbing noise from the brake may be due to dust and is normal. To clean the dust, wash the disc and pads with shampoo and tap water.
If disc is bend, there will be a jerking or pulsation or vibration on your fingers while braking but this jerking may perhaps be because of faulty caliper pistons or O rings.
Ride the bike for 2-3 kms without applying front brake and check the heat on the disc. If it is warm, it is normal. Otherwise, ask the mechanic to clean or replace the caliper pistons, O rings and seals. The total cost comes to about Rs. 250/-.
If still the problem persists, think about replacing the disc and that too after checking at another SC as some service centers seems to be exploiting the bike owners.
Price of the disc here is Rs. 1132/-. If you replace the disc, ask for a printed bill.

Motul GiXXeR 10w40 Mineral Engine Oil is certainly better than Idemitsu 20w40(from memories). Had to replace earlier 10w30+15w50 cocktail as it's been more than 6 months in crankcase.

Also, got my hands on Motul AllGear 80w90 API GL-4 1L Gear-Oil from Motul Distributor @ 220/- per Litre. Will be using it in my scooters (Dio + Access) & for GS150R's chain lubrication.
