The battery seems to hold the charge well .I checked it with a multimeter it displayed 12.5 .So I believe the battery is fully charged (Checked battery when the bike stood idle for 2 days without starting the bike)

Hence, as one of the other member reported here, please do these things and see how it works.

    1-4th gear at 3k rpm.

5 th and 6 th at 4k rpm...I get a mileage of 52kmpl at mild traffic conditions ,which I believe is a good mileage..

Have been using for past 500kms, no issue till now. Haven't been able to ride much due to some issue in the bike.

Any reason why searching for 10W40 oil only? Shell Advance is 10W40 API SL JASO MA2 and is really good oil.

I believe 10w40 can improve my baby elephants starting trouble..

Bike does not starts without taking numerous kicks and self-starts.Even tried with choke but of no luck.
*Checked battery for faults but its pretty good
*Set a/f ratio to richer side but of no use, only the mileage reduced.
*Cleaned spark plug, and changed to shell petrol
but still no improvement..everything is fine according to service people

So as a last hope I am looking for 10w40 oil and SM/ma2 are superior standards and has less amount of pollutants..This is reason I am looking for the above mentioned oil...

Hope you understand my short sad story and bear with my crappy English...

How old is the bike? How many kms on odo? Get the Spark Plug cap checked for any current leakage, it is a simple 2 minute job. Also, get the self checked for any connection issue in it.

Place a electric tester on the Spark Plug with bike running in neutral. If you get "tick tick" noise, then it is short.

IMO, since your bike is relatively new, take it to the SVC and let them know the problem before you try out things your own way.

                            Hi guys,

Finally the service centre at thane found the problem in my bike after I had complained to the company through their website.

The issue was my bike was swinging to the right whenever I used to apply brakes and also it ride at an angle towards right.

As per the SC guys my front right fork was not working in tandem with the left fork.

                            They changed the fork oil.

Even after the servicing I still feel there is slight tilt towards the right. Also i experience some pain on my right shoulder while riding.

Please someone tell me if it could the front forks gone bad.

Can I claim warranty on these and get of replaced ??

It's been around 1 year is nce purchase and I have rode 12100 kms.

Also if someone may guide me how to check the front suspension.

Sent from my LG Optimus G using Tapatalk 2

                              Hi,

I am an old member of this forum but have been inactive for quite some time.

I am assuming you already tried the suggestions from other members of starting with choke, cleaning spark plug, chaning spark plug cap, etc.

For your starting problem, ensure that you dont raise the acclerator while starting the bike. Also, ensure that your acclerator cable has some free play; that is, the acclerator cable should not be in pulled/tensioned state at idle position.

There is pipe from the tank cap that prevents air-block, but if that pipe is clogged/folded too much, you will have starting problem. Ask service guys to check that pipe. As a temporary measure, just open your petrol tank cap and close it. That should clear any air block, if any.

I usually dont have any starting problem even in cold and wet conditions. I use choke only when bike has starting problem when parked for about 3-4 days. Once bike starts, push choke to its front position.

Close your petrol knob when you park your bike for over a day.
