Duke's headlamp, Pulsar's tyre hugger and Pulsar 135's no.plate holder on GS150R.
Looks like a Inuzma.
If you wrap/ paint it all black it will be super good .
Also remove the chain cover (if you clean it regularly) it looks incomplete.

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Back after a long gap. Essentially no problems with my bike.
Since my purchase in March 2013, I have only covered about 11000 kms. Generally daily commute.
After 11 successful services, I successfully broke the warranty and did not turn up for service this time. I don't intend to follow the 50 day service regime anymore. I am moving over to a more standard 3 months or 2000 km service regime.
thanks and regards,

Venky

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Does anyone has DIY video for chain cleaning and lubing? My bike seems to be a little harsh after the rain in Chennai. I don't want to go to svc for this.Originally posted by SparKot View PostIt took me eight services @SVC to breach warranty agreement, for some even less(1st itself?).

I don't know if anybody has/done DIY video for chain cleaning and lubing. However, youtube should have at least one or two in the similar lines, no?Originally posted by getvmurali View PostDoes anyone has DIY video for chain cleaning and lubing? Check DIY on xBHP DIY threads for chain cleaning and lubing.
Nevertheless, don't invest more than Kerosene & tooth-brush for cleaning chain & EP-90(EP-140 to prevent clunking sound to some extent) gear-oil for lubing. GS150R has conventional-roller chain, it doesn't need much care than frequent application of EP-90(oil of some kind at least).Last edited by SparKot; 11-07-2014, 03:34 PM.There is no honest path to prosperity - KoKa

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Hello everyone!
I'm a new member to this website, but have been reading through the posts for more than 2 months now. Came across xbhp via a google search when I was looking for some reviews for Honda Unicorn (which were my original shortlist) for purchase in the 150cc segment.
I am not an expert on bikes (but my knowledge has vastly improved reading through this thread). I have been riding bikes for over 10 yrs now...my father's Hero Honda Splendor and my elder brother's TVS Victor (my brother recently upgraded his ride to a Honda Shine and isn't very happy about the 'attitude' of the Ananda Honda service center in Electronic City, Bangalore) By the way, I recently moved to Bangalore (near Electronic City) just a few months ago. Though there are 2 bikes at home, I figured it's time to get myself something to suit my own requirements (and Bangalore traffic)
At the moment I don't think I have any questions or doubts (cuz reading through the thread, I realized that almost all the questions that I could think of have already been asked and then many of them have been answered as well). It was slightly disappointing to see that some people didn't read the thread and kept coming up with same questions after 10-15 pages and then mostly the same few knowledgeable users would take the pain to address those doubts again (which they have already done before). I think this is a great platform to share knowledge and help/advice each other regarding bike problems, but at the same time I also feel that people seeking information should not expect spoon feeding from the old/experienced members who readily answer questions here. (My personal observations....several questions about different 'terms' and 'spare part' name etc as well as 'what is size of nut of my bike' can be found by reading manual or just by using google search or best by checking the size of the nut on the bike parked in your house itself)
Anyways, thank you every one for your inputs and valuable time. I am so glad I came across xbhp website BEFORE booking any bike. Ofcouse, this website or the reviews don't GURANTEE that I will choose the best bike, but it has certainly helped knowing about the bikes from real owners and people who have tried riding it (and not only hear say)
Thanks again!
Rahul
PS: I'm still figuring out how to navigate the different sections of this website. Very informative indeed

Carb screw jammed
My bike was stranded in open ground from Feb till esterday.
Everything was jammed. Replaced a few things and got it 'serviced' from a mechanic. Put a lot of WD40 on everything.
The ride is roughest ever in four years. Its making noises 'Gad gad gad gad' taq taq ta gad taq while riding.
real issue now-
Mechanic told me carburator settings are tampered and fuel screw is jammed and half rusted. Impossible to turn in any way round.
1. I start my bike, its at 1.5K, the ride starts, when say Im in 2nd gear at 30 & I decide to change gear to 3rd and press clutch, immediately suddenly RPM goes upto 4K and beyond. I slowly release clutch and then it comes back to normal. This happens even when I plan to brake.
**Mechanic says this is because my clutch plates are gone, without even looking at it**
what Im thinking-
1. Should I buy a new carburator so I dont get this sudden 4K rpm issue and so that Air Fuel mixture is at factory setting?
2. Or is this sudden 4K beyond rpm due to clutch plates?
clutch wire changed 1K kms ago." A man is also known by the bike he rides :D "

Motorcycle stranded on open ground for eight months! How did that happen?Originally posted by chiragwarm View PostMy bike was stranded in open ground from Feb till esterday.
...
Regarding the problems there is no easy solution, check everything, head to tail.
PS: Do not leave the motorcycle with any mechanic/SVC overnight for repair. Be present during repair/inspection work to stop further screw ups. There is no honest path to prosperity - KoKa
