Hello all,
I just checked my Disc brake fluid. I did see the min level mark but I was not able to see the fluid at all. The brake works well but the absence of the fluid there surprised me and i do not know what if the fluid is transparent. please find the attached pic of that section and let me know if something is wrong(either with the bike or with me
). Please excuse the clarity of the pic. If it is not enough i'll send a more clear one.

I have never heard of transparent brake fluid! Seems like brake oil level is low. Get it refilled ASAP. Maybe this is why you guys were complaining about the low braking power.Originally posted by Augustine09 View PostHello all,

The thing is the braking in my bike is very good. I dont have any complaints in braking. But still i'll have a check up and see whats the problem.Originally posted by abhijeet080808 View PostI have never heard of transparent brake fluid! Seems like brake oil level is low. Brake fluids are generally in gold transparent and reddish transparent colors. Hydraulic braking works on the fluid and without it you won't get stopping power.Originally posted by abhijeet080808 View PostI have never heard of transparent brake fluid! When the brake fluid is full you won't see the air bubble easily. From the pic I can see that the brake fluid is full (unless some colour is acting up in the pic). When the fluid level goes down (happens rarely) you can see emptiness through the window.

not possible for disc brakes to work properly without the fluid, thts the thing which applies pressure on the disc

its stupidity to run bike at 95 kmph after first serviceOriginally posted by Bubbly View PostHi guys... My first service is over so i have started pushing my bike hard
Today i was on IT highway (chennai) with a pillion rider (I am around 100Kg
+ pillion rider is around 60Kg).... I was able to push my bike upto 95Kmph.... There was absolutely no vibes... No change in noise from engine... The bike was rock solid
cool man... I love this bike
Gonna push it further when i am alone...
And about that resonance between 3.5-4k rpm.... I dont feel it now... Maybe i have become used to it
think u did not read ur manual
control ur adrenaline rush or the bike will never perform properly neither will it give a good mileage n the engine will suffer
now u dont want all these right
keep it in run in limitsHope is a good thing ,

Apple Auto offered me price of around 68700 without any extra accessories like seat cover, teflon coating etc. Lemmi check with other showrooms in bangalore.... but might end up with Apple itself as its nearest to my homeOriginally posted by jayanth_b_p View Postoops sry i meant its less than 70k its around 69311

cost in bangalore
68603 at aerolex motors, kh road (without any seat cover, teflon coating etc...)
I had purchased a black one on 18 April.
Its 68750 approx at the showroom on old airport road...It did not have a black one last month hence i bought it at aerolex..
BTW, tomorrow is my bike's first service (825 km so far)
very disappointed with the rear drum brake and the headlight.
My fuel tank moves/shakes a bit. Noticed it while refueling at the petrol pump. Anyone faced a similar issue?

Even I felt brakes are not upto the mark (like pulsar/ i own one currently) when i did test ride.. but one has to use effectively the front and rear brakes for proper stopping...Originally posted by aasinghal View Post

Cant comment about headlight as i have never seen that... but change the bulb to original philips which will give you much brighter light... i had one in my fiero F2
really amazing headlight.
mean while please anybody post snap of GS headlights(switched on)... specially the parking lights...
All fuel tanks shakes, as they are fixed with rubber dampers and are not welded directly to the frame.. so its common.. but if it shakes/moves a lot then the issue... get it checked
