Thanks for your reply Sir. I was actually searching for tribocor as suggested by binil as well but everywhere I search it is out of stock. I dont want to use over hyped Motul products.
I know about your fiasco about moving from TNT300 to 600i. I have been following your posts carefully on 600i thread as well. AFAIR, you were very skeptical about taking a plunge on 600i, since you wanted to use it on touring and explore places, how everything turned out?

Also is it advisable to buy chain sprocket separate cus there r better deals.
Chain sprockets are in stock at Vinayak Benelli in Domlur, Bangalore. I replaced my chain sprocket set "finally" at 37000kms on the stock set. They have the CHOHO 525 (Benelli Stock Imported). They are expensive but really good chains, yes you do have to maintain it.
DO NOT GO TO WHITEFIELD SVC. Talk to Shiv Kumar - 9902025002 - you can refer my name if you want to.

You would get most answers in the previous posts. I will try and help.

I am unsure what you ask here. Yes the tall gearing does help you pull the bike from really low speeds. Excellent for touring.

I honestly have not given it much thought. The exhaust pipes get a coating of mud in rains as it dries up in that heat. I use scrotch brite to clean it. The O2 Sensors and stuff can handle a good amount of beating. I am yet to have an issue with any of the connectors or sensors.

Cleaning the radiator with a hose and a tooth brush helps. Just be sure to only use the bristles and not the plastic handle of the brush. Get the front mud guard extended. It helps keep the muck off the radiator. U can see images here. MUDGUARD

500km is rainy or you wade thru water. 1000km is dry weather. This is for the dry lube. For regular oil based lube reduce the duration by half.

Check the service manual for a break up. Cost will be lower than what was during DSK Days.

Since new service interval is 6000km or 6 months. AMC no longer needed or applicable.

4-6K - You will get MT / SMK / Low-end HJC ones you will get within 7k.

Good ones are very expensive. Basic ones can even be a large tarpoline stiched to a suitable size. RE has some big ones which can cover.

TRIBOCOR is getting difficult to come by. I am using Putoline Drytec now. Its a little more expensive but lasts almost the same if not more.
Wurth & Maxima are other good brands.

My bad for being not clear, what I meant was that I don't want to stress the engine too much by driving at high speed at lower gear. Since I usually upshift at 4k RPM at every gear, I was just checking in if my approach was right as its a high revving engine, do I need to revv it to `9k RPM before every upshift?

Good to hear that, I can see that many wires leading to exhaust pipes are rusted and exposed at the ends so was worried during normal run/wash.

Bike is just superb, though you have to be very careful at slow speeds. Its damn heavy at 230 kgs wet. I dropped it twice, but both times I dropped it slowly. On long open roads shes a beauty, and man is she stable in curves. But I am not a speed junkie or a cornering addict, so I tried those only a few times.

Shes good for highway touring. After the flood calamity in Kerala, I took a trip with Xbhp riding group to Munnar, where the roads were being rebuilt. I was on the Pirelli Angel GTs...In loose gravel roads it was tough to keep her steady......the scariest was when on return there was a section of about 200 mts which had only slush mud ....the back tyre was slipping and sliding and scared the shit out of me...I was crawling with both legs on the ground to keep her from tipping over , once almost falling....one of the riders in the back gave a support trying to steady me....Had i fallen it would be have been a mud bath...but I was more worried that i might not be able to get it back up because there was so much mud......It was the scariest ride , though it was just 200 mts or so...

So no off roading , not even a bit on this one.....

I have been using the Tribocor tc 40...After you spray it you need to leave it on for a few hours... Was not able to get in Kochi, so wrote to the company directly and they couriered one.... I have almost finished it, so I bought a Motul now... Want to see the difference...

There is no issue upshifting early. The bike has enough torque to pull it through without stress. This bike can have two distinct characteristics ... one of a laid back tourer ... with the tall gearing and early shifts. Other of a hooligan, where you rev high and have fun in traffic. :P

Were only the existing owners invited in this event?
                      Was there any press coverage?

BTW, although this is my first post in this thread, I have been contemplating buying the TNT 300 since a long time now, and had been silently following this thread all this while.

I'd really like to get an honest opinion from all the TNT 300 owners here - do you guys think it still makes sense to get the TNT 300 today? I mean, at least in theory it checks all my boxes, but there are a simply a lot more of capable competing models in the market today than there used to be when the 300 was originally launched. So, even though I was almost sold on the TNT 300 and had practically made up my mind to get the bike the moment it was made available again (after test rides, of course), I'm getting second thoughts these days.

I ride a 2013 Hero Karizma ZMR currently, and am looking for an upgrade in the ₹4-5 lakhs range (on road), that'd both work as a daily commuter and have decent touring capabilities. Comfortable seating posture and good engine refinement are my two most important requirements. I enjoy a fast but comfortable ride more than an adrenaline infused crazy speed run, and I value good low end torque more than the fastest 0-100 figures

                      Please share your opinions folks!
                      Hello folks!

After a lot of deliberation, I finally took the plunge and booked the new TnT 300 in green colour.
I'm from Pune, and the only Benelli dealership here is A B Automotive. The booking experience has been great so far. I took a couple of test rides on the TnT 300, and one on the TnT 600i. The sales manager Mr Parikh has been both very friendly and professional.

Yes, the TRK 502, scheduled to be launched next month had me confused for long but ultimately I decided against it because it won't be a practical choice for daily city commuting, which would comprise around 80% of the user of my bike.
Abhijit's beautifully detailed and honest ownership review on Moto Hive helped me finalize both my choice of the bike and it's colour!
                      https://www.motohive.in/benelli-tnt-...ership-review/

I should be getting my bike delivered sometime in the next week.
The bike has already reached my city (Pune) from the manufacturing plant in Hyderabad and I'll be visiting the showroom later today to check her out.

It'd be great if you guys can help me with answer to the below questions I have at this point :

                      1. Based on your experience, which insurance provider is best to go ahead with, in terms of ease, speed and success rate of claim settlements? Feedback from folks in Pune will be extra valuable!
I'm leaning towards New India Assurance, but the dealership is recommending Oriental (which has a lot of negative reviews in general). Also, I'm planning to get it done online myself, because the premium quoted by the dealership is ridiculously more expensive (₹6-7k dearer).
                      2. Which protection is better - ceramic coating or paint protection film?
I'm leaning towards 3M's PPF because it provides far better physical protection from scratches by keys, rings, belt buckles etc than ceramic coating would. However, PPF tend to turn slightly yellowish with time.
                      3. What has your experience been with the so called "logistics and handling charges" that the dealerships apply? A B Automotive, Pune, is charging ~₹8-9k. As per recent court orders, RTOs have become very strict about these illegal charges that the dealerships apply. Did you guys have to pay this? If not, how did you avoid?

Sharing your honest experiences and feedback will really help me! Thanks!

Filters are standard fitments just like brake pads. As long as its the right fit it works fine. Purolator is a good brand. Don't worry.

I usually stick to the one who has a CASH LESS facility with the Dealership or Service Center. Have had good experiences with HDFC ERGO & LIBERTY till now.

I have been using the PPF for over 3 years now. Works like a charm even today. Ceramic is also good as long as it's done properly.

I use this filter for the past 2 oil changes. Service centers use this filter only when there was parts scarcity for a while. I was skeptical but there was no choice other than using this for regular service when the original was not available. No problem with this filter so far.

Well, looks like India is land of spare parts options from sources never imagined.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Very true. Never had a chance to think that DSK will ditch Benelli when the showroom experience was very nice while buying the bike. Only relief is all OEM parts are available in aliexpress.
