I am facing oil leak from above drainage bolt.
I don't know the part name. Please see image.
When bike is on main stand it's only few drops over night but at side stand it's like 5ml -10ml.

I got it serviced but they didn't fix the issue. Current oil is Honda Throttle.
Can anyone tell me what exactly the issue so I can let ASC know the exact issue. We know that most of the ASC guys just try to defer all bike issues.

Same problem with my friends hornet. When parked on side stand oil leakage is high. But parking on main stand, no leakage.
This problem started after second service. Service center people's not able to solve this problem.

Change the drain bolt aluminium gasket. Also see that the drain bolt and engine casing surface are fine. Make sure that there are no sand/dirt particles present while fitting. The mechanics have a tendency to fit these parts without cleaning. I also faced oil leakage problem after first service and solved the problem myself by fitting new gasket.

I checked the leak is not from drain bolt. But the point where arrow is.
Is leak from drain bolt then oil level will be same either at side or main stand.

Bike got serviced last Thursday, they have changed the gasket.

Your leakage was from drainage or like mine?

It might be from neutral switch. Clean the drain plug and make sure its not from drain bolt

I got the same leakage issue after the first service went to ASC and got it changed
Later oil was leaking from the gear rod oil seal, got that replaced and now oil is leaking from the drain bolt.

Have shown to the ASC , they are unable to identify the part from where the sound is coming..But it is from cylinder kit and cylinder head area.

After switching off the running engine it is normal to get kit kit sound. In hornet it's common. I have listen the same in Yamaha FZ too.

                          .
In most cases it's loose tappet. If sound is subtle, not too audible, bike is fine.
The symptoms you described, only in lower RPM. It's not much of issue.
I use to hear this sound and ASC said they will fix it in next service. But it resolved automatically before service date.

                          .
You are pointing to Silencer metal contraction. This is just property of metal used in exhaust.

I had same problem after 2nd service. Mine was so worse that nearly 400 ml got wasted. Got to know this while I refilled engine oil!!! [emoji29] [emoji33]

Fortunately, ASC was kind enough to have it fixed at my home! Mechanic and service advisor came to my house with extra bottle of engine oil and had job done there itself! That's was great. Otherwise I had to drag bike till some garage at least.

It happened 1 year ago... So no photos at the moment.. will post soon..

What was the exact issue in your case and what they fixed?
Was your case also with side stand leak?
I think bike is little leaning to left on side stand and level rises to some bolt which is not sealed properly.
