    You should re-check with showroom.
Generally, all showroom have policy to check if vehicle is OK after a day of service. They should fix the issue.

Mileage may drop due to 1st service and new oil.

                Hi bro.
I did reply but post was deleted because i used sms language. Anyway back to your question.

I have January 2016 black cbs model. Ridden 7500kms almost.
                Here is my view.

If you compare with your Tvs it lacks little bit on acceleration. (Rtr factor).
But vibration are not present. In Rtr post 85 you feel vibration. Mileage also better. Top grunt also more.

                HORNET city ride.
Low end performance is average. Post 3000 rpm the torque kicks in. Flicking through traffic is awesome. Steering is precise at best. In start stop traffic you can get 45 kmpl on proper ride sync.

Cornering is bit hesitant because the steering goes in first and you need little effort to get the rear end in. But thats very little effort.

Tyres are good. Dry grip is very good but in wet conditions maintain alert.

Highway ride can run day out in 90 to 100 speeds.

                My experience.
                City 47kmpl (45 to 55 speeds)
Highway 52kmpl (top gear 60 to 80 speeds)
                Top speed 127 kmph

About waiting period. Depends in region to region and which color and model you choose. Please contact nearest dealer.
At the end of the day. Please take a test ride.

                All the best. Ride safe!

What do you think about CBS? Necessary or just a gimmick?

It is a useful feature , brakes are excellent on CBS model also it has rear disk .

Hornet is very good for city use. With the very refined engine riding at low speeds like 15-30 km/hr feels very good, so it will be good to ride in traffic.
The engine is very fuel efficient, so you can get around 50 km/ltr in city riding depending in riding style and condition.

But since you already ride a 160 cc bike it does not looks like a proper upgrade to me, after test ride only you can get the difference between these two and decide whether to go with hornet or not though, if difference are minimal i would suggest to keep the Apache.

The cold start rpm would had been less than 1000 rpm maybe. Next time when you start for morning ride let the bike idle for 2minutes. Then go.
                            Hope it works

Guys, So i have ridden my bike for 650 KMs. I am due for first service, i will be giving it on monday mostly, so that i will cross 750 KMs.

Sometimes, the accelerator seems very harsh, even though am below 4k RPM. But if i come down completely and then that feeling is gone.

Any idea as what is going on?

Also, sometimes, the gear changing is very butter smooth, but the change of gear from 1st to 2nd is very harsh.

And there is Chain slack issue.

Keeping these in mind, what should i ask the SVCs guys to look at ? Will they do fix these issues during free service?

It is first instant that the bike behaved like this.you have done 7500km, so how does the bike feel now . Has it become smooth or it has vibrations till now?
