Orange....Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostHi guys, I am finally going to book a Hornet on Thursday.
Now comes to the final question in my long list of questions. Which color to pick?
I am struck between Red and Orange one.
It would be of great help, if someone who owns an Orage one can post a pic. I saw a pic of Red one some few posts back.
And i dont want to go through any website for this, as the colour representation seemed to be different when i saw them in person.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Please please do not get confused with the Reserve Sign Indicator. Let me Clear it here
When the Reserve Indicator starts to blink, it does mean that the bike is in Reserve and you put ur Petrol Knob from On to Reserve
When the Indicator Starts to Blink it jsut means that the the bike is about to get in Reserve mode. The actual Reserve is when your bike Completely Stops in the on Mode means while Riding the Bike you will feel that the Petrol is about to get Over into on Mode and once the bike completely utilize the petrol in On Mode trip your Meter to "0", and then ride it to petrol Pump.
I Hope i am clear here

Guy I want to know 2 things
1. When u put ur bike on main stand and start it and engage it in any gear with the clutch depressed does the wheel still rotates.
2.In second and third gear when u suddenly take accelerator and then release a prominent tak sound comes.

Bikes have multi plate wet clutch.Originally posted by souravvr View PostGuy I want to know 2 things

Even when clutch is engaged the gap between plates is very less and oil is present in between.
There will be some amount of drag between this plates because of oil film. This drag is enough to rotate the rear wheel when it is free to rotate i.e, when bike is on centre stand.
Regarding 2 nd question owners can help you

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Guys, I just spoke with the showroom manager. He is saying he just received a new lot, so it will take at least 7-10 days to get the bike registered.
But he can give the bike tomorrow evening without registration and i can ride the bike with "For registration".
I travel almost 30 kms to office (so 60 kms in total). Can i ride a bike without registration? Or i have to pay something to the police ppl if they catch me?
Any suggestions as what to do.

AFAIK you cannot have TR number on road. The insurance coverage doesn't kick in until the number is registered.Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostGuys, I just spoke with the showroom manager. I've a cousin with a new broken(literally)-in Honda City now costing him an extra 1.5 lakhs because he couldn't wait for a week. When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
When you get the bike you will get temporary registration with unique number from showroom. This registration is perfectly valid for police and this registration will be used while getting actual number. This duration may vary from one state to another. In Telangana it's 30 days, as mentioned on on TR registration. But Police don't bother for months, since people may go for unique numbers.Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostI travel almost 30 kms to office (so 60 kms in total). .
I think insurance should cover the temporary registration period. (Not Sure)------------------
