Chain tight u can do at local shop. Rs.30 to 40 max.
I maintain speeds of 60 to 65. Awesome mid range. Post 70 to 84 exact or 6500rpm. It feels ruff.post that it just shoots to 105

    Thanks Guys.
Today I visited service center. Mechanics checked for bike vibrations when he rode it on highways with me on pilion. He said no vibrations, that's normal and sound is also normal.

They tightened chain as well, now slack is 1-1.5 cm. (It's tight, I guess. I may need to ride slow on bumps to avoid it getting snatched.) Total cost came 50 ₹.

Yes mid range is very good. Feels awesome to overtake or accelerate on highways! Btw, fuel indicator isn't that accurate. Gixxer and FZ owners, how's your fuel guage accuracy?
    Ride hard, Ride safe! :D

In most bikes the fuel indicator isn't accurate. FZ has a not so accurate fuel indicator and it is very well known.

          Hi Everyone

          Just quick questions.

Can any body tell how long both tires last for a sane rider who ride at max speed of approx 70kms.?
and same for the brake pads as well. Please share the price too.

Thanks in advance. I have booked a cb Unicorn(Relaunched one), but now a slight dilemma on which on to go for.
          slow down.

Tires should last for 25-30000 kms if ridden carefully and on smooth roads. price not known but should be around 5-5.k for both tires.no idea about brake pads.there might be a difference of 10k between hornet and unicorn but it is justified.

Hey All, I just bought a Sprint Blue colour CBHornet 160R CBS about a week back. I am facing certain issues and not sure if this exists in all the bikes.

              1. When the headlight is on and the engine is revving, the light glows brightly and when kept at idling, the light dims down. This is specifically a problem when driving during the night and whenever there is a gear change at slow speeds.(Not seen this problem in any bike, even in my old Unicorn)

              2. I get a sound from the chain as if it is loose when i press the clutch. This happens mostly when i start to ride the bike bike after keeping it idle for some time. Like in the morning when going to office and again when starting to come back.

              3. While driving doubles and when we go on a speed braker(even a small one, as we see the plastic ones in malls), there is a sound as if something is hitting in the below. Not sure if this is the main stand hitting them or something else. And I believe it is not the main stand as i see that the bike has a very good ground clearance.

Other than these initial driving experience is very good.
              Hello all,
Awaiting some response for my above query. Please help.

1.it is perfectly normal for ac headlamp bikes.above 2k rpm light doesn't dim(flicker)
2.you mean chain sound .is it whir kind of sound.then lubricate chain with a good spray.
3.it is not mainstand for sure .it may be Seat as the seat is a bit loose and makes noise over bumps.

Hi. Thank you for the quick response.

                  1. Ok. I understand that
                  2. With regards to the chain, it is week old bike and still do i need to lubricate the chain.
                  3. I will check the seat again. However, i observed this only while riding doubles. During solo driving no such sounds are coming.

                    This is for third one.

Its the main stand. That scrapes. But in my case it only happens when i ride with a pillion. Solo riding it never does. Maybe u can shed more speed while entering a speed breaker

Yup, it's the main stand. Happens on the Unicorn too. Used to scrape on speed breakers with a pillion. Now I slow down more before hitting one.

I think parking button (button position between off and headlamp on) should/can changed to hazard light.
