Nope, it's still there, but it's reduced a lot after after getting the valve clearance corrected. My bike is very peculiar. It feels somewhat rough at all times. When I ride any other bike and come back, it feels super smooth. But when I ride another Unicorn/Uni160/Hornet the difference in smoothness of very much evident.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Yes , that is the classic AC headlamp behaviour - most probably running directly from the alternator . And yes very much a irritation at night . I can't get it why not one motorcycle has satisfactory headlamp setup from factory , should not be that hard to design a good visibility well focused beam that is really useful to riders with current technology . Even with 35watts of power to play with , thinking of a 12v 10watt LED floodlamp !Originally posted by madelikeagun View Post.. When the headlight is on and the engine is revving, the light glows brightly and when kept at idling, the light dims down. This is specifically a problem when driving during the night ..
Turn indicators are almost always DC & running off the battery , because those need to work even if the engine is not running . They do not load the battery much since they are required momentarily .Originally posted by madelikeagun View Post.. The remaining Headlamp, Pilot (Position) lamp and Turn Signal indicators "maybe" running on AC current. Because I just do not see the current electrical configuration being able to handle all the electrical on DC setup..Last edited by Pinaki; 05-25-2016, 02:37 AM.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Ok Guys, i went to Showroom for signing my Form 20. When i was waiting for them to get the printout, i saw a white hornet, where there was scratch in the tank. When i pinpointed to the showroom guys, they didnt responded properly. Now i am afraid how my bike is going to be.
I asked them i wanted to see my bike, they were like sir, the bike is in the top floor and it is locked.
So, Guys, during inspection, if find something like when i am taking delivery, what should i do ? Will insurance cover this?
Btw i am going to take delivery tomorrow, as RTO registration is tomorrow. Please advise.

do not accept it until its perfect its your bike. tell them to do it else tell them to cancel the purchase and you will buy from some other showroom.Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostOk Guys, i went to Showroom for signing my Form 20. Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
So If it is the case then they have to give me another bike which they have to register again correct as each bike is registered by chassis no..Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postdo not accept it until its perfect its your bike. tell them to do it else tell them to cancel the purchase and you will buy from some other showroom.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Do not allow bike to be registered before inspection. If registered, you have to take the concerned vehicle no matter what state it is. Inspect the bike(pdi check) fully before registering at rto.Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostSo If it is the case then they have to give me another bike which they have to register again correct as each bike is registered by chassis no..

Studds shifter, good quality for price of 2100 along with lot of color options.i am using one for 4 months and it has been a good experience but wind noise creeps in post 60 kmph.Originally posted by Ezhilan VS View PostWhich helmet to buy for my blue hornet?
Blue helmets look too bluish for the bikes colour I've shortlisted Vega boolean escape

Hi bro. Vega plastic quality is spurious.Originally posted by Ezhilan VS View PostWhich helmet to buy for my blue hornet?

I use ninja 3g. Doing good job. High speed noise reduction effective till 80 kmph. Top notch quality. 1800 bucks. If u got some serious money. Try the on showroom helmets of steelbird. Or go for LS2 hands down

Read the manual thoroughly and you will have all your questions answeredOriginally posted by mac4rfree View PostIs there anything specific I should keep in mind before the first service and after what km I need to give for the first service?
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!
Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.
