I'm guessing it's the safety system which doesn't allow the bike to start without clutch in gear.

              • Pilot lamp (DTRL) fused out!!!

One of the pilot lamps on my Hornet just fused out internally So disappointed.
How is this possible on just 4 month used Hornet that has done just 2400 KM!!!

Is it covered under warranty? Should this be free of charge replacement?

Also, lot of oil, grease coming out from joints such as foot pegs, behind engine and chain is just throwing out lube everywhere...
How to clean this up? Will pressure wash remove all such sticky stuff?

I think it must be covered in warranty but I'm not sure either

Just completed 450 kms. Before my first service comes up I just wanted to ask, does anyone have any experience with Jhaveri Honda at Kurla and Pilot Honda at Bhandup? I specifically need service centers in Mumbai which are working on Sundays. Unfortunately I have a 6 day work week . The above two are apparently open on Sundays but I just thought I'll check how they are if anyone knows.

                        Thanks.

I'm not from Mumbai, but having read previous posts, Pilot Honda does not have a good reputation at all. I would suggest you to avoid it.

                              Hi Latebloomer,

I don't know from which part of mumbai you are.

I would suggest you to do servicing at parekh automotive in sion. Its under pilot honda but way better than other pilot honda. Its a authorised service center.

Works on sunday as well. Opens at 9.30am You can wait there in customer lounge and at the same time see your bike getting serviced from the lounge.

I have did the same for my bike's first servicing.

                              Hope this helps you.

                              Cheers

I paid nothing. They replaced for free. I checked about the cost, it will be around Rs 90
