So I happened to notice a long rusted nail twisted and lodged somewhere in the rear tyre in broad daylight. It must have been some few days since it has been there as the nail has become quite flat and lost its rust due to friction at some parts. The tyre still has not lost air and there is no noticeable struggle or drop while riding the bike at all! I would not even come to know.

In my previous puncture cases even in tubeless tyres - it would start losing air immediately and there would be noticable struggle.

If I pull this nail then the tyre is bound to become flat immediately.

Hence instead of going to the tyre repair guy I have decided to try a puncture repair kit sourcing online. The latter will come handy anytime. Any suggestions as per the brands or specification is appreciated.

That happened with me as well but instead on nail it was a screw with flat threads due to grinding on road.
I went to the tyre guys he just pulled out the screw and nothing happened to the tyre.
No air loss till now.(it has been more than 1 month)

Are you sure there won't be any air loss? But what about the gash that's left on the tyre after the nail or screw has been removed? Won't something go in again or does it just flatten out with use?

There was no air loss in my case.
          Could be in your case.
that mark becomes a weak point but mine was very small. Nothing has happened till now.

How I does this process is simple. Got diesel worth 50bucks and 250ml '90 grade' oil which costed approx 45/- one spryer bottle which is another 45/-. And an old hard brush, some old cloth.

Sprayed Little diesel oven the chain and left there for some time(covered the tyre part to avoid the contact). Sprayed a little more diesel and used the brush to clean and the cloth to wipe, once it's clean. Leave it there to dry. After some time lube it with 90 grade oil. Do this only if you don't mind getting some muck and oil on your hands, but cost effective.
            slow down.

Is diesel as effective as kerosene in cleaning the chain? Kerosene is very hard to get here without a ration card.

                Yeah true.
I bought kerosene @ Rs.60 per litre that too after searching in more than 10 shops.

I found kerosene better than diesel for cleaning parts or chain. I get it for 50-70 rupees per litre. Have diesel too which is much easier to get - just walk into a gas station and get it! Kerosene dries up faster and is better for cleaning parts. For chain, diesel will do. But if the brake disc or the pads get accidentally contaminated, braking will be zero and no amount of washing will restore it.

Kerosene is very hard to source though. Motul though effective got over quickly. Despite my bike having full chain cover it gets very dirty quickly thanks to the dirt and dust from Bangalore's roads.

Anyone from Bangalore can tell me where to buy some kerosene?

I found some diamond chain cleaner spray costs about 120 rs. I haven't used it yet. Will use it and let you guys know the results. I also have some rolon chain lube for lubing after cleaning.

Buy Turpentine from any paint shop. It smells exactly like kerosene. Painters said they are both identical.

Smells exactly like kerosene but will attack paint and can't be used for cleaning parts? For chain, diesel is more than enough. By the way, Hornet has a o-ring chain or normal one ?

I think it has a normal chain.

From the pics posted few pages back, it looks like an o ring chain. There is gap between link plates and black rubber is seen in those gaps. Normal chains don't have gap between link plates. If chain cleaning is tough, get the bike water washed and ask them to pressure wash the chain also. It'll be cleaned along with the bike. After drying the chain, spray the lubricant spray. I usually spray it at night and allow it to settle over night.
