AFAIK they use normal mineral oil which costs 310. Throttle is full synth and costs around 600.

Hi, THe FZ Foot rest fits. I have to twist the support a little to fit it but it serves the purpose. I just did it yesterday and my mom was able to ride with me now..Originally posted by Ezhilan VS View PostFirst service done and switched to throttle oil now the engine is as smooth as butter

It costed me 150 bucks.
Now i have question regarding hand grips. The original one which came with bike is hurting me if i ride continuously for around an hour. My palm becomes white as if no blood is running. (and yeah i ride in quite a traffic place for most of my ride).
So, can someone suggest a good hand grip for hornet.

Yup, that might have been me, It was saturday.Originally posted by vRide View PostIf the sticker was side wise It could be me [emoji5]️. I commute from E-city to Tin Factory.. I would have been more visible if I was on my R3.

Yes. You hear it clearly when you are wearing a HELMET. It seeps in to your earsOriginally posted by Shashank K R View PostGuys while riding in 5th gear around 4-4.5k rpm do you hear a buzzing/whirring sound which disappears on revving higher?

I had mine from the SVC, there are quite a few original models. I found one that was really soft and comfortable. I'll upload pics soon.

Try any riding glove. It'll give you more grip and comfort. Try to keep your hands relaxed.Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostHi, THe FZ Foot rest fits. I have to twist the support a little to fit it but it serves the purpose. I just did it yesterday and my mom was able to ride with me now..

That sound was very prominent even with my helmet on the highway when I went for a ride yesterday. It was abnormal as it wasn't coming before.Originally posted by Zeit View PostYes. You hear it clearly when you are wearing a HELMET. It seeps in to your ears
But it didn't reduce performance or cause any problems, so I guess it's not an issue.Last edited by Shashank K R; 06-19-2016, 02:23 PM.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Cleaned and lubed my bikes chain today
I had to repeat the process 3-4 times as the chain was very dirty. A final water wash brought the glory back again.

I used rolon chain lube to lubricate the chain. Sprayed towards the inside of the chain and weighted 2 hours for the lube to settle.
After that Went to get my hornet's chain tightened and a short spin.
I could easily feel the difference in smoothness and pickup of the bike.
After returning i found the chain black again.
Maybe due to stickiness of rolon or i over lubed it.

I could also see the excess lube fling of all around
