You need to first go to RTO from temporary number within 7 days of getting the bike and then you will have to go RTO again for permanent number. I have just got back from barrackpore and it's really frustrating to go 50 KMs up/down ride just to have officer to see the number printed on neck of your bike

dont get angry bro, you have to visit one more time only, you have to ride 50kms up/down and i lost near 3000bucks for this .....ing inspection.

Yesterday I again called dugar Honda they told I will get temporary no from them but it will take 15 days.....i think they are not having efficient agents in rto and about the bike not at all impressed with the engine and chain noise has come after riding only 50 kms on odo ,even if u release the throttle after reaching 30 slight grinding noise ,like that of gpt and clutch housing is there.Previous ly I owned 2010 extreme which was much smoother and silent and I regret that I sold it for hornet

Even I'm feeling it lil harsh but I'm ignoring it because it's a new bike

My bike is in run-in period. I hear clattering sound while downshifting gears. Sometimes neutral light appears after some delay. Is this alright ? I am new to leg gear. am i punishing my new bike ?

Hey Friends! brought home Orange CB Hornet 160R CBS on Mahashivratri for Rs.96500/- + interest(49700 1year loan @12.7%+1500Filecharge) with accessories.
My First motorcycle.. waited for 4 years.. . After sales attitude of sales executive is typical i mean he just handed over the bike and went away without showing any details or functions.. i understand it was a big mahurat day and they had a lot of deliveries.. i was promised delivery @4pm but got at 7pm again we saw sparks while ignition so it took 30mins more to rectify it. i had to go again next day to know how to set clock and trip meters but this all didnt down my mood.. i am still excited. now i can go anywhere i want without having to wait for autorickshaw and can make new friends and its new here in Surat(Gujarat) so people ask which model it is and how much it costed me. Bike is awesome and very smooth and responsive though it will take time to get used to the gear system. This beast has already started changing my life yesterday night went for a 45min ride and i just dont have enough words to express it. I was following xBhp since 4 years but didnt register as i didnt own a bike i am super excited to join the league.

Make sure you follow the user manual to break-in the bike properly. Follow the service schedule strictly

i havent yet received user manual or bill, insurance policy, temp number, puc, service books, etc.. i just have cash receipt and delivery challan. the sales guy told it will take 2-3 days as they had lot of deliveries.. i wonder is it legal to drive without any of these? he told only delivery challan will be enough. i asked him about max rpm and he told nothing to worry drive like whatever i want to it doesnt matter.. frankly speaking their after sales service is like shit spoiling Honda's name but i dont want to be dragged in i am trying to feel my beast..

Yea dont take chances. If the cops stop you they will not listen to you, so its better to wait until you have everything. Also as far as break-in concerned, ride below 3k rpm and vary the speeds, dont drive at a constant rpm. Change gears frequently. You have to do this upto 500km I believe then you will have your first service.

4k is fine too. You have to gradually increase the RPM after each service/oil change
