by the way you said chain was tightened twice, was it in the service centre or by yourself ?
In service center. I also shift gears at 2.5k rpm it may also be the cause.I also noticed that at 3.5 k rpm gear shifts like butter and efficiency is good if ridden at 4-5k rpm.

what are the rules for pollution paper ? Do I need one despite the vehicle is brand new ? It's BS IV as well

Also, I'm having problem riding it at 2nd gear, it turns off at low speeds.

well you have got everything now, youre a free bird now

have any of you guys faced gear lock issue - i faced it today - due to sudden hard braking the gear shifting was lock and i cudnt shift it up or down, then i tried to move the bike with toe down like we do in traffic, and then it became normal again.

*** P.S - The brakes are damn good , also grip and main thing is balance i didn't feel dis balanced even for a second Hornet rocks , though the locking issue came

Yeah I too faced it if you brake suddenly in 5th gear you cannot shift to first gear.you should wait for a moment before shifting every gear. This resolves the locking.

I agree with everything you said above. Not being a pro rider, I thought the problem was with my riding style
