This is very common nothing to worry about. I remember, when I had my first disk brake bike and I visited workshop for similar issue when it was new, they told it's normal in disc brake.

So far in 7 years with the bike, I have not faced any issue with disc brake. It gets corrected with running.

In cars it's recommend to apply brakes at good speed occasionally to clear the dust, it will not be safe to do the same on bike.

I am not hearing any such sound in my bike

When you say the chain gets loosened in ~ 500 km, is it that chain is touching the swing arm ?
Yeah it is almost touching swingarm from bottom.

I planned to go by 3.5k , its not wise to wait that long for service the new engine, honda is giving 3 free service while others are giving 5 or 6.some profit they wanna earn dats their cheap rule.i really hate this abt honda,i hate switch gear ,im not complaining abt engine kill switch im talking abt switch gear quality which is used in super splendor

Today I went to service centre to enquire about the genuine Hornet seat cover, cost they told 400 Rs & stock will come in another 1 week. Also got drive chain tightened.
I enquired about the oil change interval, they confirmed it is for every 6000 km after 1st service. For unicorn 160 also the oil change interval is 6000 km & shares the same engine as Hornet.

Ok this is annoying. My message keeps getting deleted if I try to edit on my phone browser.

Anyway, coming to my point (again), 6000km is too long for an oil change. I notice that Honda oil lasts for about 1500-2000km, maybe 2500km maximum before turning watery.

Better to replace engine oil twice within 1st 750-800 kms. ( along with cleaning of mesh/centrifugal oil filter or replacement of paper element oil filter)
                              Read other ownership threads.
Procedure of common things like oil change during Run-in remains same for all such bikes.

How is it? Any difference in performance or smoothness? I'm planning to shift to 7100 10w40 on the next oil change. Currently running Shell AX7, good oil.

In my opinion changing oil twice is a waste of money. Changing the oil before 800-900km is sufficient.
