  • Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences

Hey guys , hope ya'll doin great. just wanted to share - i have done my first service today , and rode abt 50km after servicing - few things I noticed - like
    1. bike became smoother than before.
    2. chain slackness gone.
    3. Done lubing.
    4. clutch freeplay adjusted
    5. gear shifting stiffness gone , as well as 1st gear to 2nd gear is smooth too.
most important - 6. pickup dropped ( its same as you guys reported ) , but can not understand the reason , maybe using fs engine oil is preferable rather than hondas 4stroke oil ( Rs.310 ). bdw - first servicing cost is - 312 (including wash

Will get delivery in 2 hours

They took 97,106/- Is it good or being overcharged ?

My RTO will be barrackpore. My brother visited only once for his activa's permament registration but while buying hornet, dealer just wrote A/F on the plate and now I need to visit RTO on tuesday. Are they gonna give me temporary number and then again I have to take my bike there for permanent registration ?

Can you explain as I think you have already done your registration.

Do you feel any sluggishness or difficulty in cold starts? I think 20w50 is too heavy a grade for this engine. 10w40 would be a better choice.

Hello guys..I need some help regarding the throttle response of the Hornet. I have done my first servicing with an oil change at 820 kms.Gear shifting down is still hard and after throtling hard I can reach only 6k rpm at my top gear at around 72kmph,after that there is no throttle response. Is it normal anyhow?
