This is one of the heaviest bikes I've ridden (I've not ridden REs; the heaviest I've ridden is AS200) The weight is quite balanced and easy to manage while on the move. I've dropped the bike once while pushing it down a slope (loose mud).

I've braked hard (unnecessarily hard) with a handlebar turned to the sides before taking sharp turns and was about to drop the bike quite a few times but managed to balance it. Just don't be hard on the brakes, especially the front while making turns.

Also take U-turns at low speed. Drop down the leg down on the inner side of the turn.

    I don't understand this part
Just push the gear lever all the way up till you can't push it up any further, especially while shifting from 1st to 2nd. It should avoid any neutral/false neutral. 99% of the time, they are due to lazy shifting. If it still doesn't solve the issue, get the clutch freeplay checked.

      Thank you!
I always use all the 4 fingers to pull-in the clutch, so I will always pull the lever fully and push the lever fully to the top before taking the next shift.
I made this as a habit, when I drove suzuki with it's pathetic clutch.
So the issue is not there on the lever.
I'll check the clutch freeplay this weekend and let you know the results.

I bought this beast in 2017 october and so far i have driven 27000 kms. Off late i am facing alot of vibrations . Actually vibration starts once i hit 50 km/hr and then it gradually increases when i hit 60 km/hr and once i reach 70 km/hr it becomes unbearable. If i maintain the speed above 70 km/hr for more than 10 minutes i get back pain after the ride. What could be the reason for this vibration? Because earlier this was not the case with my bike.

          A few questions
          1) On what all parts of the bike you have vibrations?
          2) What was the onset of vibrations – gradual or sudden?
          3) When was the last service? Was anything changed/reassembled?
          4) When was the last oil change?
          5) What is the condition of chain and sprockets? If possible, send pics of the axle bolt on both sides.
          6) Do you get the tappet noise? (after warming up, engine sounds like a sewing machine when idling)
          7) Is there any power lag or additional sound beyond 50kmph?
          8) Are the vibrations associted with a specific speed (for example, above 50kmph) or a specific RPM (for example, above 4k RPM)?

            - It starts from foot peg, then on the sides of tank then to handle bar .
            2) What was the onset of vibrations – gradual or sudden?
            - Sudden
            3) When was the last service? Was anything changed/reassembled?
            - i changed my tyres recently but am facing vibrations before that.
            4) When was the last oil change?
            -25000km
            5) What is the condition of chain and sprockets? If possible, send pics of the axle bolt on both sides.
            - i will post it once i reach. At present am out of town .
            6) Do you get the tappet noise? (after warming up, engine sounds like a sewing machine when idling)
-no there is no noise like that.
            7) Is there any power lag or additional sound beyond 50kmph?

Did the last servicing at 41000kms and changed the engine oil to Motul 300V 10W40 for the first time. This engine oil is just wow as bike is more responsive and quick.
Yes it is expensive but worth every drop of it with the extended oil change period. Did the normal servicing as no major repairs required. Thinking of using this oil from now on. I am not getting 10W30 or 0W30 very easily so using 10W40. Will try 0W30 if i get next time.

I had purchased 200 RTR ABS Race Edition 2.0 Black Color on 26/11/2018 in Bangalore.

                  Issues that can be solved:

                  1. COLD START: This issue got resolved in the 2nd Service. I just informed about this to the service guy and he resolved it.
                  2. GEAR SHIFT Sound: Gear might be hard. Ask the service guy, they will solve it.

Issues I am facing now and NEED HELP:

                  1. Stickers are bad. Within 2 months of daily commuting, the stickers are coming off now. Showroom guys are not helpful as they said there is no stickers available. Need Help for complaining or replacing the stickers.

                  Questions:

                  1. How to save tank from the scratches? Willing to go for a matte black vinyl wrap. Suggestions please.
                  2. Any good shops in Bangalore for the Accessories? Need to change the visor with a bigger one.

                  About Bike:

Amazing machine with great engine response. Completed 2900 kms till date.

                  ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

With Shell Normal petrol, I got 41.6kmpl and with IOCL Normal petrol, I got 39.8kmpl in Bangalore. I am using Indian Oil now.

Can someone pls help me with the stickers issue? Today Morning I saw that the Apache (Horse) Logo is also coming off. I dont know the reason. Not a single scratch on the bike near to the stickers. Parked in shade always and cleaned with microfiber cloth everytime. I dont know if this issue with only my bike or others are also facing the same.

I need to know how can I complain this to TVS and where can I purchase the stickers.

Also, my bike completed 4300km. 1st oil change was done at 550km. Service centre guys told to change the oil at 5k. but the mileage of the bike drops drastically suddenly and engine gets hot especially in the traffic. Should I go for oil change or wait till 5k run?

Mine is two months old, already right side horse ran away, and I don't think the stripes are gonna stay. So i'll do the wrap once it got some old. Any estimation how much it gonna cost. Also changing the color is illegal, so I have to stick with white. :'( TVS oil will not last for more than 2500 kms, So better to change the oil in 2nd service itself. If you say you want to change the oil instead of topup, they will obviously listen to it, because they are going to charge you anyway.

Even I’m not satisfied with the fit and finish of the bike.
There are some ugly welding jobs which can be noticed easily.

What wraps can be done to protect these stickers and logo ?

Regarding vehicle color change, I think it can be done but with approval of RTO and changes must be made in the RC.
Only RTO permitted colours should be done.

Thought of sharing my trails with diff afr setting.
                        1. Factory setting is only useful till 1st service ie, ride under 5k rpm.i faced all problems like cold start, poor performance after 80km speed, noise and vibration at 3-4k rpm
                        2. Then I tuned it to be bit more rich ie, 90° turn from factory set towards rich. Thanks to aryus and others here at the forum who thought me how to do it. With the new setting, I see better performance and reduced vibration from the engine. Still I had morning start problem
                        3. Then I tuned to 150° from factory setting. Now I don't see all those issues. Bike performs extremely well at the cost of mileage. Now I hardly get 35kmpl. But I'm ok with that.
                        Hope this help someone.

I think you can dial down the setting by 30°.

Also close the screw fully and count the number of turns and note it down somewhere safe. It may come handy at time. Then revert back to the current setting. Don't be harsh with the screw.

Should i bring down to 120? I tried and did not see much improvement. I have marked factory settings. So i can set it back when needed. I use carb spray and move screw step by step.

I'm telling to back off by 30° because I suspect that you're running a bit rich. I think it may improve your milege by 2-3kmpl. I did the same and it improved from 33-35kmpl to 36-39kmpl.

Again nothing can be said with absolute precision here because all bikes, carbs and carb settings are different. Riding style and riding conditions also play a very important role.

I will try again. Last time I did not see improvement in mileage. Performance is too good at 160 setting. Bike never struggles at 90+ and exhaust note great. My driving pattern is not smooth. I mostly ride at 80+ on open road and 20-30 at bad road conditions. I hardly maintain speed at 50-60. So I might be getting less
