The tank pads were sourced online from Autographix. Fairly easy to find online.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Did u fill the form in the link below if not do it then and make other members do the same , I guess we are lucky here in delhi that our svc guys are doing the the ecu update on every bike and listening to our complaints. Also do post on Twitter and fb and make a you tube video tagging the Bajaj dominar . Also try to get hold of ur area service engineer's contact. If nothing works start a online petition.Originally posted by ksibendra View PostMentioned the service centre name.. i havnt tried to contact the toll free number but my mates have done and they get a responce that we will look into your matter soon..
Other who are facing complaints can fill this form up and submit.

Actually here the service guys have less knowledge even here we have a single mechanic for dominar in a single service station.. that really sucks..

Same here bhai we also have only mechanic at our service center dedicated to dominar, but there are few others who are also trained. But our service head or manager is nice.Originally posted by ksibendra View PostThanks for your valuable time.. yes we would fill it in d morning and post it.. will be informing you once we get solved with our problems..

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Got my Dominar today, 1.5 hours after full payment. Pretty awesome bike.
This image is from the warehouse of the dealer. (Wow, can't get the image straight, dont know why.)
The showroom is 1.5 km from where I live. Test rode the bike and by the end of the day, the ODO read 30 kms. ODO was 3 km when I received the bike.
Happy riding!Last edited by sourabh.note; 06-22-2017, 01:24 AM.My first bike, Dominar!

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hello guys I bought the Dominar on 27th of May. And boy I was totally into my new ride. Earlier I was riding the old Pulsar 200. So moving to the all new machine was a great experience for me.
Being a heavy bike its quite agile. Handles the twisties quite well, intially I completed my first 500 kms in just 2 weeks. As I used to ride just double of my destination just for fun sake.
For me bike is just stand out and where ever I go I have some undue attention on road
. And ppl come to me ask about my bike and appreciate the way it looks.
Till now for me Dominar had some mix reactions as a owner.
Lets talk about its Pro first:
1. Looks killer to me...
2. Handles corner like pro...
3. Superb lights (liked the combo of using both the dipper and beam lights together)...
4. Nice relaxed riding posture...
5. Liked the way it sounds...
6. Mid range rev is superb...
7. Comfortable soft cussions for ther rider as well as for the pillion...
Now it comes to some cons:
1. Thr is huge drop of power sometimes (had a chat with bajaj...ECU update will solve the problem)
2. Front forks are way to hard, makes you cry when you hit a potthole...
3. Accrelation does not excites...
4. Fuel Tank is small, as its a higher displacement bike (makes you stop for fueling nearly every 300-350kms)...
5. Gear indicator is missing...
6. Hazard indicator is also missing...
7. Digital console buttons are was to hard and inaccessiable with your gloves on...
8. Accerelating Dominar hard gives you vibrations on to your legs...
But overall I am satisfied with this machine...
And looking forward to ride this beauty for long distances over Himalayas...

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Thanks man! I am going to need some assistance as it is my first bike. Been using a non-gear scooter all this time.Originally posted by mechnizmo View PostAwesome. Let me know if you need help.or suggestions.
Although I have a not so old helmet, I am willing to get a new one. Gloves, jacket and other riding gear too. Plus, paddock stand and other accessories. Of course, all of this over the due course of time.My first bike, Dominar!

I guess buying the gear would be largely dependent on your budget. If you are looking for suggestions in a particular budget range, I'd be happy to suggest a few from personal experience.Originally posted by sourabh.note View PostThanks man! When you say suggest something, what exactly are you looking to buy?Originally posted by $Cj View PostSuggest me some best gears. My Budget is max 20k.
Helmet, riding jacket / race suit, pants or knee pads and boots are recommended. Are you looking for just some of these or all?
