You got pics for the luggage rack ? How did you do it ? How much it costs ?

Git it from rainbow lining in thousand lights. But it's not a direct fit. Need to customise it.

Went for the breakfast ride yesterday. with two fellow owners and friends. Rode 254kms total to and fro delhi to karnal mayur dhaba.
And for those complaining about drop in top speed, Took the bike to max 161kmph on the panipat toll stretch bike was very composed all through the ride no issues faced just smooth and crisp power dilivery . Weather was super cool too.
Just a little hint of rear fishtail due too heavy cross winds. Gorged on tasty paranthas.
Biking does increase number of friends

As usual, they kept my bike again for the entire day and said that the rim is bent. It is not even noticeable but enough to disturb the tyre pressure. After a days work, he said the leak is fixed.

Blaming it back on me, he says that I must have ridden it on pothole with low air pressure. Obviously i gave him a piece of my mind. Which included me being super cautious with this being a Bajaj bike, have given more trouble in 3 months then my 6 year old unicorn and that your service is pathetic. Anyway.. came back and rechecked the leak. Guess what guys. They fixed nothing!
When i called them back, service center manager said that we cannot do anything about it now. He said I'll put it for the approval on Monday and let me know the deal.

With that being said.. let me give you some facts. I have been extremely cautious. have not even crossed 65kmph. Not because i dont want to.. but dominar for me is extremely vibey. I mostly ride solo and have never hit a pothole big enough to scare a scooty. So yes, rim bending issue is very real and this monsoon should prove that nationally.
I dont mind repairing it under insurance too but that will just happen again. I'll just have to put some extra pressure and continue to do it twice a week. Till the time they accept the issue and fix it.
My only mistake is I made a rushed decision.
Strangely never heard this from any owner here in delhi and trust me i can not tell u the condition od roads we have here.
And why only 65kmph. Try exploring the limits and i believe it will grow on u and the vibes will get better with usage. Tank vibrations can be fixed by placing double sided tape under the plastic tank. And for engine vibes get the mounting bolts tightened there are three of those. Hope u start enjoying the bike.

There is no way to check the ecu file number unless u connect it to proper hardware.

While ascending slopes / downhill when i apply hard brakes, i feel rear brake pedal kick back. Is it normal in abs ?

I know that it should be normal. Because I have noticed that same with front breaks. Yesterday I noticed a lot of kick back. Could possibly be because of extra tyre press i have kept though.
But in my case, it wasn't a slope just breaks under normal conditions.

Thanks buddy. But I need to get it fixed first.

Any idea/clues if Bajaj is planning on launching more colors for the D400 ? Currently I feel only the white one looks good but I'm not a big fan of white

And I know wrapping is one option but it costs $$

I asked the showroom personal the same question and they replied with a big NO (with doubt , i think they didnt have any information regarding this)

So i booked the white version , and the delivery will be within 2 days
Pls give me suggestion on pre - delivery inspection, and what all things need to be checked before taking delivery

                        I have 1 more question,

Is it advisable to take the bike to a long ride ( 280km) within one day of delivery if i keep the bike in rev limit , vary revs accordingly , and give proper breathing time of 15 to 20 min at every 60 to 80 km??

Yes it is normal it is the ABS pulsations controling the break in a pump or pulsating manner to prevent the wheel lock , and same would happen to front in hard/sudden breaking or on wet or lose surface.[emoji41]

I felt the wrath of it once, went to off roading tracks of death valley , and i knew i could just woosh it through the loose dust, but while onto it you apply the rear breaks it did some amazing work , even on a finger deep dust, it just locks for some mili seconds and gains traction again, according to me, it still did some fantastic job.

Forget about the ABS and brake progressively, just like on a NON-ABS bike.
Don't let the ABS kick in, ABS kicking in means you will take more time to stop.
