    Hi All,

    Couple of questions.

    1. I have observed that the rear number plate bracket is prone to bending and mine is in the shape of an S. I never felt anyone rear ending me very recently, may be it has happened in office parking lot here in Siruseri, Chennai. The number plate seems to be the first to get hit in bumper to bumper traffic, Once I had to back-up my bike a little to allow a car turn in front of me and the plate hit an auto which was 2 inches behind me, scratching the auto's yellow paint and at the same time bending the plate. I got it straightened, but now this is the second time in 3 weeks of ownership. Any similar experience, Is there any solution to this?

    2. How it the quality of Bajaj's cover for Dominar? Or is there any other recommendations for body cover?

At 3000 KMs mileage, the bike seems satisfactorily smooth. Infact, between 70-80 KMs in top gear easy cruising, all i hear is a faint buzz and almost negligible vibrations.
The gear shift is pretty smooth if changed at appropriate speeds. The tightening of the bolt at the lever (as suggested in this forum) improved the gear shift feel. Started Using HP Power and the bike seems more relaxed.

But one thing I noticed, is that the chain definitely needs lubrication every 500 KMs. Can't push it any longer than that.

Bikerz, share your long term feedback based on your experience with the bike.

          Cheers.

Yes you are right but all the manufacturers going to stop the supply the products by end of this week so in your case it seams your bike is allocated for you and waiting for billing process.they are asking you to bill before 24th because they don't wanna trouble u in the neck time to pay more....and it will take one week for registration process....

The Bajaj's cover for Dominar is pretty good. quality wise and the material is also good. Dust proof and water proof. I bought it at the time of taking delivery itself. Though its a bit expensive(INR 1000/-) worth the money. I added the rear luggage rack and it was able to accommodate that to. Perfect fit.

Hi, In contrary to your statement I heard bajaj gonna cut down cost post GST as the new taxing scheme will bring down bike cost.. That's the reason showroom people keep on insisting to purchase the bike before july. Link for reference GST impact: Bajaj Auto cuts prices of bikes, from CT100 to Dominar 400 - Livemint

Edit: Looks like bajaj officially announced cutting cost upto 4500 rs post GST and it is implemented from today it seems.

Guys...I started noticing a pattern for my bike stalling issue. It happens almost always after I ride out from my basement parking. It's pretty steep.

It doesn't stall on the incline, but after I reach the top and ride in second. It stalls even as I pull the clutch. It starts only after couple of cranks.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
Am I the only one facing this weird issue?

                        ???

May be just use the first gear throughout and not use the clutch. The pattern you describe looks like engine stalling due to low rpm at a higher gear.

Brothers, need wisdom, please help. The abs light won't go off. It happened yesterday but on bike restart, it went away. Now on the way to office, even restart did not help. I plan to hit the sc asap but in the meantime
Is it safe to ride with the light on?

Wont be a problem. The abs wont work thats all. To be sure that the abs system wont misbehave, you can remove the abs ecu fuse and ride till you get the time to visit svc.

Ok thanks. Faced no issues today. Will go to sc on Sat.
On another note, asked for ecu update and now is available in Pune.
