Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Nice. Congrats on the new bike. The tyres are great on dry roads but try to push corners in wet. When new, tyres would skid but will fare better with use.Originally posted by Harideep View PostYes.. Not revving after 4k n maintaining 73kmph. Waiting for first service

There will be shitloads of power after 5000 rpm which is when the vibes are lower than at 4000. Even i was pissed off at the vibes but either they have reduced or i for used to them or both.

Don't think so. Especially for FI bikes. What's the odo reading. Is bike running hot, check oil and coolant levels. Get it. Checked from SC.Originally posted by omkappoor999 View Postwobbling rpm

Second that. Damn, I wish this was earlier. I had a hard time figuring out if i was in gear 5 or 6. But now i can tell from the acceleration and engine braking when i ease off.Originally posted by ~wolverine~ View PostHow did you do this... can you pls share the whole modification?

Either the oil pressure is low or it is engine heat up.Originally posted by Harideep View PostYes.. It won't increases post 4k.. Have to revv a lot And vibrates at same time..

Check the coolant level and the oil level in the morning. If its running too hot, ecu will restrict your rpm by 4k.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hi guys,
I am great confusion as some of you already have, i live in Bangalore and own classic 500, 3 months back i met an accident because of wheel lockup in loose sand and the pain on my right shoulder still continues. Ever since i am really scared to take my bullet outside. Lately i have been doing test rides of both fz25 and dominar.. In my view despite of the weight of dominar it handles in traffic really well and the added safety features are just too awesome. Coming to fz25 it felt really quick. And the braking is also very decent. More easier than dominar.. I still have one fz16 which is nearing to 120000 km.. So i can vouch the quality of fz series. I never own a bajaj bike nor anyone in my family and close friends circle.
So my question is can i go ahead and buy dominar with eyes closed and fingers crossed?? Or wait for any abs version of fz25?? Or any other bike you guys suggest?

Wait if you can. Buy it you must. Buy gear first. Don't get fz25 unless they offer front abs. No point getting more of what you have anyway. HthOriginally posted by VJdesert View PostHi guys,
