Has any one got new ecu update the latest ones file 116 and 117. I was informed by friend living in pune that many pune owners got the new updates and are praising it big time.
I will check about same here in delhi but if anybody has any info do share.

Confirmed. There is a a new update. Have been asked to come on Sunday for the fix. Was a quick call but definitely, it's out.

Ive got the update. Doesn't seem much different for me. A more linear torque in the lower gears. That's it.

Ive got the update. Doesn't seem much different for me. A more linear torque in the lower gears. That's it.

Dominar or FZ 25 !?
2. And why is it that both bikes 0-100 speeds are same !? Around 8.5 seconds !? Is something fishy here !?
3. What's the mileage of dominar !? Only those people who have done more than 2000 Kms should answer this one.
4. Which one is more fun to ride - dominar or fz25 !?
5. Does dominar shows fuel consumption like fz25 !?
6. I found console of dominar better than fz 25. However which one offers better readability in sunlight !?
7. Would dominar be a hassle to ride in traffics and signals given its huge weight !? Is it tiresome to ride in traffics and uneven roads !?

I will answer a few queries
Both bikes have different weights, dominar is heavier, hence only marginally faster.
Average is at least 27 kmph half city, half highway.
Dominar does not show fuel consumption.
But here is the simple answer, Buy fz25 for daily commute, buy dominar for the ride and abs safety.

Both bikes not meant for drag racing. The 0-100 figures are of no use on daily use.

Riding in Bumper to bumper is a hassle. But does not overheat even in worst traffic conditions.

*Dominar for me, no distracting tappet noise either. But having said that, fz25 sounds good too.

*Weight, Domi is faster though. These values are of not much importance in real life. Domi has better power to weight ratio.

*Do not own this beauty yet.

*You decide, fz25 is lighter, good for city but domi has great power, weight distribution and a slipper clutch that works wonders in city and still has great ergonomics and power for the highways. Dominar is safer too, given the dual channel ABS.

*No. Hardly matters, it can't be accurate most of the time.

*Both are fine, one on dominar being marginally better.

*Sometimes, but not a big issue at all. 183kgs is nothing compared to bigger bikes.

I havent ridden the FZ 25 yet but only seen 2 of them in the flesh, so I may not be able to answer on the direct comparison queries of yours. Rest my answers are in bold. Hope they help you.

Cant Say, the Dominar sounds much better than the other Bajaj bikes. It does sound powerful.

Difference in weight and of course Jap engines have better tuning to achieve good acceleration Nothing fishy, just 2 different bikes doing what they do best.

Completed more than 2000 kms and the mileage so far is stable at 28 KMPL. Havent measured for highway runs.

Do you mean it has a distance to empty gauge? If so then no. If you mean in terms of mileage then It cant be as fuel efficient as a bike which is nearly 40% less powerful and weighs less too.

Under direct sunlight at near perpendicular angle I find the console of Dominar to be very difficult to read. Not sure about FZ.

I ride a lot in city traffic and its not tougher to ride than a 180 Kg+ cruiser bike. The low end torque will keep you zipping without much effort.
