its a heavy bike and cutting through traffic needs cautious effort. Longer wheelbase has this downside.
it has excellent handling and great riding comfort.
newer batches have the vibration issues sorted out (used to happen above 4K RPM mark).
It can rip in straight line and transforms when running above 5K mark.
performance below 3K RPM from 4th gear onward is a pain. you will have to shift frequently to avoid engine knocking.
The better and the only choice if you have decided on performance segment is Duke390.
Since you are mostly looking for daily commuter, there are other, fun to ride and economical packages available.
This one is meant to rip on highways.
    Best answer. Thanks bro.

Rode the bike for around 250 kms and tried jotting down everything I noticed about it. Tried to make the review as exhaustive as possible.
With the ongoing winning streak of Bajaj’s quirky taglines, they had to come up with the best one for their most powerful offering yet : “Only babies sleep at night”. And I found …

                                Hello Everyone,

I joined XBHP recently and I have been using Dominar for the past 2 months and clocked 1100 kms on it. I have ridden it in bumper-bumper traffic as well as on highways and here are my thoughts regarding my bike. This is not a review and points mentioned are solely according to my experience

                                1. Power delivery is awesome and it is a bliss to ride it on highways. In city traffic it gets heated up a bit though.
                                2. Coming to its weight, it does not feel heavy when riding on highways. But, in city traffic its weight becomes much evident. Because of its long turning radius taking U-turns is a bit pain. Riding solo in city traffic is much better than having a pillion.
                                3. It vibrates a lot in 4000-4500 RPM range, but post 4.5K it is butter smooth. Even though the manual says max speed till 2K kms is 85KMPH I could not control my desire to go beyond 110KMPH(only 2-3 times though).
                                4. Brakes does a decent job. But while riding in rain and if the bike gets wet, I dont feel brakes are working sometimes. Also, stock tyres are not meant to ride it on wet surfaces.
                                5. LED headlights are not that great as claimed by Bajaj.
                                6. Only thing I did not like about Dominar is its rear view mirrors. No matter how much I adjust them, visibility is hardly around 30%.
                                7. Being a sports tourer, Bajaj should have included a windscreeen visor which helps in reducing windblast.

Honestly speaking, this is the best bike for me in this price segment and I don't regret choosing it.
