I think everyone will benefit from this same way the bajaj ktm did.
And as of now this partnership is for a new middleweight bike base on 400cc engine having a triumph badge and for bajaj a retro theme bike base on same engine.

You are not fully correct. What you are saying was the kind of deal Bajaj had with Kawasaki.

Bajaj has signed a "GLOBAL" partnership with Triump (yes, not just India). And it will jointly develop mid-range bikes with Triump for emerging markets. And needless to say, Bajaj will incorporate most of the technology in its bikes. This is what it did with KTM also. Its similar to what TVS is doing with BMW.

        Finally!!
Did the full payment for the Dominar today
The showroom guy said i'll get the bike day after tomo
Looks like I'm going to have 2 sleepless nights and 2 neverending days

They've already alloted the bike so I guess i'll have to do a PDI check before accepting the bike.

Nope, but Triumph can. As someone already mentioned. Look at TVS/BMW alliance. You think TVS will sell bikes in the range of BMW? And vice versa.. BMW will compete will TVS in terms of numbers?
There is always a catch bro. Unless things metrialize, we can only hope for the best of both worlds.

The deal between Triumph and Bajaj is similar to TVS and BMW, Bajaj and Triumph will be developing products jointly and Bajaj will manufacture products at their Chakan Plant and those motorcycles will hold the Triumph logo. These will be sold globally. They are looking at the 250cc-750cc, This is said by Mr. Rajeev Bajaj himself! I am really excited and hope for a better future for Bajaj Auto and Triumph! ☺

                    Hi guys,

I have been feeling pain in my both the palms from the beginning.
I have asked the service center guys about that, they have said that it is because hard levers and it will reduce by the time. And also I have tried riding with gloves. Pain was less but it's there.

                    It's 800kms on my odometer.
50-50% in city traffic and highway.

If anyone has also felt the same and have a solution. It would be helpful.
I have heard about adjustable levers. I don't know how much that is helpful.

Other than that I am enjoying every bit of that.

                    Happy dominating.

you heard it right... adjust the levers downwards.. as per your comfort. It will solve the issue.

What is the mileage obtained in d400? Is it ok for everyday 35 kms office commuting?

How is the bike? What major problems does it have? Appreciate any info.

I get around 25-26 within city with moderately high traffic. I am a bit heavy on the throttle and usually keep her above 4000RPM.
its a heavy bike and cutting through traffic needs cautious effort. Longer wheelbase has this downside.
it has excellent handling and great riding comfort.
newer batches have the vibration issues sorted out (used to happen above 4K RPM mark).
It can rip in straight line and transforms when running above 5K mark.
performance below 3K RPM from 4th gear onward is a pain. you will have to shift frequently to avoid engine knocking.
The better and the only choice if you have decided on performance segment is Duke390.
Since you are mostly looking for daily commuter, there are other, fun to ride and economical packages available.
This one is meant to rip on highways.

After third service bike wobbles slightly at high speed, seems wheel alignment went out of whack after chain adjustment. Thinking of getting DID chains after 16000
