Guys please add me to the Delhi group of whatsapp.

Also i would suggest that if there is no India group for dominar owners lets create one. It will be great for guys going on a trip. This way we can meet with dominar owners in other states and tag along for rides if possible. Just a suggestion.

Yes we will have to stop every 200 kms. But i guess that is good in a way. That will give us one reason to stop and enjoy the surroundings and stretch our legs. [emoji4]

That FE is still better than my bike buddy i get mostly 15 to 20 kmpl till now
The best i got was 28 kmpl
I ask the service centre guy (Sai Service Borivali) he told me that they cant do anything about because its a FI bike so they cant do anything about it
Till Now the odo is 850km (i don't ride that much)

Is there any way to improve FE ?
And do have any idea about the ECU Update ? When will it arrive at Mumbai (Borivali)? And if it already arrived and install to my bike is there any way i can know it or check it my self?

Last weekend went to Breakfast ride on my Domi 400, This was my first long ride with Domi...what a machine
You can cruise effortlessly and gain pace any time you want....the only problem is Domi vibrate between 4k to 5k RPM but that's OK.

The fun was riding Domi in KASARA ghat, how nimble she was....I don't know how Bajaj manage to do that I will upload the ride video soon

Till the time Some Pics Of ride

                        Hey guys,

A long time reader of the forums and a new member. Recently moved back to India, specifically Pune. Finally settled on the Dominar after reading mils of reviews and the whole(!) ownership thread here. First of all Thanks to ALL of you for painstakingly recording and updating everything about the bike here, it's a blessing for the would-be owners like me.

The only things I'm confused about are the color (need to do a bit more soul searching to choose that!!) and which dealer to get it from in Pune?

I have visited and talked to the dealerships at Gems Bajaj (Hadapsar), Krishna Bajaj (Fathima Nagar) and Planet Bajaj/Sai service (Shivajinagar). All of them looked fine, but upon reading this thread it seemed that Bajaj releases new Dominar models only after customer books them, but both Gems and Krishna Bajaj had bikes with them and said I don't need to wait at all. Good thing or Bad thing?? Only Planet bajaj said that they would submit the request to company and have to wait for 15-20 days to get the bike at the dealer.

Factors while choosing: Which dealership has a better SVC connected with them? Which dealer has better after-sales support: like organising meetups with Bajaj engineers to take feedback, organising Dominar riding trips, etc.??

Choose the dealer whose svc is closest to your place. Or else Sai Bajaj has the most number of svc's in Pune.

Also, the booking process is online, but then what happens is sometimes customers who have booked before are not able to arrange finances in time when the bike arrives. In such a case the dealer then gives that available bike to you if your payment is processed.

As far as meet ups and rides are concerned, no dealer does it. There was just one ride organised in Pune and that too by Bajaj.

                          Hope this helps.

I was able to book my bike offline itself from the dealership Baga link in delhi. I got the bike the very next day!! The next day after i booked i went and did the payment and all and got the bike at that time only in about an hour of payment.

Should I be concerned about the same?

The dealership had only one dominar on display at that time. Now they have bought 2 3 dominars.

I dont think booking offline is a matter of concern. It was merely a gimmick started by Bajaj anticipating that the bike would have months of waiting period, but their estimate failed miserably.
And why I say it was a gimmick is because the dealers used to allow us to choose our bike from available stock. How could they do that if the bike was pre alotted? It was more of a safety measure where dealers dont discriminate with people who have booked earlier, but now since there is ready stock, its of no use.
