Bought the Dominar on 29th June shelling out Rs.192290(On Road) at Bengaluru. Post GST price is almost the same. Yet to to get the Registration Number from RTO. Hence, could not take it too far out of the city.
Currently Breaking in the Engine(in an unusual way, i.e., I'm not running the engine too softly). I've drained the Synthetic Oil and filled Mineral Oil(Shell AX5 20W50 JASO MA2) first thing after I took delivery of the vehicle. Changed the Oil and Oil-Filter again after 100 kms. The Odo is now at 300 odd kms. Got to have a good breaking in before the 1st service when they fill it up with Synthetic Oil again.

The Thing I found inadequate was the throw of the High Beam while on curvy roads. Its too near. The High Beam on a straight road is adequate, but on curves, it fails to instill confidence as the beam illuminates only the immediate premises.
I do not see any option to adjust the beam ourselves. I doubt if one can adjust it at all.

Apart from that I found none of the problems widely discussed in this thread aka the power loss problem, vibration problem, nothing.
In fact, I consider the Bike vibration free right through its range until 7000 RPM(the Max I tested). There is slightly more vibrations at around 5000RPM which I feel is being slightly exaggerated by few here in this thread.

Ohh Yeah... Got to be careful while shifting to neutral. The Neutral indicator comes on even when it is not quite neutral and the Bike can Hop when you release the clutch. Also, the Bajaj trademark 'Thud' in the first gear.

My only question now is : How to adjust the High Beam? Is it possible at all?
Yes it is possible. Put the handle bar towards the right. At the back of the headlight there is a hole n you can see a bolt. I put a 10 number T spanner and rotate it anti-clockwise the beam will move upwards.

      Thanks buddy
I had previously scanned the backside of the headlight and found no port to adjust the headlight.
Now, I looked again only to realize my lack of attention.

NEVER try to run the bike in gear and clean. So many ways that has gone wrong and many lost a few fingers.

If you are not sure of doing this on your own, take to service centre.

        Cheers.
oh i see...thanks for the suggest
i will do it but before that i have to go for a jack

U can use wd40 , karosean, or tarpin oil to clean chain. Cheapest would be tarpin oil. Just lift the rear with car jack or a dabba and apply the cleaner . Leave for 2 3 minutes and wipe with lint free cloth can also use toothbrush for more cleaning. And finish it with any chain lube. That would do the job.

Like to correct my self here and to inform others to not use taripn oil to clean chain as it can damage the rubber in o rings .

I recently installed the adjustable levers for both clutch and brake on my D400.
After 80kms with the new levers, the ride feels much more relaxed on the palms and forearms. Even at 120kmph, a quick stab at the brakes would not cause the pressure to be centred on the arms. The quick shifts are quicker, thanks to adjustable levers and slipper clutch.
For anyone putting long hours on the saddle, I would definitely recommend getting a hold of the adjustable levers and relaxing the stress on the palms and arms when munching miles.

Slipper clutch adjusting rpm to reduce engine breaking.

During the Last weekend ride to yercaud, I had a strange experience in my Domi. It might sound a little weird.

I feel my left leg is slightly cramped and started giving me slight discomfort. I am 5'10" and normal proportionate. 90Kg.

The right side is absolutely perfect. But the left side is uncomfortable.

Am i the only one to feel this. Tall Dominar Owners Please share your inputs.

Could be multiple reasons...cold climate, even tight jeans could cause cramps.
