If the hot level is below the lower mark then do the topup. If it is above the lower mark then u can still wait.

If i may ask are in bagga whatsapp grp.
Okay. Yes, It gives a kickback kind of feeling just for a micro-second the moment I downshift mostly in 35-50 kmph range and then goes off. I did show the clutch adjustment to Bagga link and to a local mechanic who says the adjustment is good.
Is there any Bagga link whatsapp group? I am not a part of that group. Would love to be part of the same.

During cold level I can't see the oil. But hot level it's in the lower mark not above or below. If I have to buy the oil, how much does it cost bro?Originally posted by Ijs View PostHow did u checked cold level or hot level.

Always warm the engine then wait for 2 3 minutes before checking oil and straight the bike then wait for 1 minute or so for the oil to settle down.Originally posted by krish_095 View PostDuring cold level I can't see the oil. How far are u from next service, i advice to change the oil at second service too as first 2 or 3 oil changes are good for engine.
For topup at home u can buy oil from bajaj the dtsi 10000 10w50 cost 1010 for 1.5ltr pack.

My doubt is if I buy the engine oil, I won't use it fully for sure. So during 2nd service can I give this oil or should I have to pay them. Because during 1st service I paid for engine oil.

Keep the remaining oil with u for future top ups like after 2.5k to 3k kms of when needed.Originally posted by krish_095 View PostI have ridden upto 2000km only and it's been 2 months since delivery.

And most importantly if possible always insist on getting the oil change in front of u at the service. As in some cases it has come to light that svc has used 20w50 semi synthetic oil in place of 10w50 full synthetic and this is the prime reason for the level getting low after 2000kms as in this engine full synthetic is recommended garde and semi synthetic burns at a fastwr rate.

Thanks bro. For 2nd service I decided to be there the whole time. SC guys always find excuse for not doing proper work. Their marketing for bikes are good but their service and maintanence should have to improve a lot.Originally posted by Ijs View PostKeep the remaining oil with u for future top ups like after 2.5k to 3k kms of when needed.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hi everyone, my question might sound silly but I am little confused, I own a dominar and my service center is at Ulhasnagar, one day while I was there I heard the manager telling to one person that " SIR AAPKO SERVICING KARNA HAI TOH KISI 1 JAGAH SE HE SAARE SERVICING KARANA PADEGA, AAP PEHLA SERVICING JIS CENTER SE KARAOGE UDHAR HE SAARE SERVICING KARO, MERE PASS LAOGE TOH WARRANTY VOID HOGI, AUR MAIN RESPONSIBLE NAHI RAHEGA FIR "
Is it true that we can't change service center for our free servicing ?

Hey. I don't think that it will void your warranty. Have you completed your free services?Originally posted by H8ndy View PostHi everyone, my question might sound silly but I am little confused, I own a dominar and my service center is at Ulhasnagar, one day while I was there I heard the manager telling to one person that " SIR AAPKO SERVICING KARNA HAI TOH KISI 1 JAGAH SE HE SAARE SERVICING KARANA PADEGA, AAP PEHLA SERVICING JIS CENTER SE KARAOGE UDHAR HE SAARE SERVICING KARO, MERE PASS LAOGE TOH WARRANTY VOID HOGI, AUR MAIN RESPONSIBLE NAHI RAHEGA FIR "

Ok. I did my 1st service from Kanchan Bajaj Ulhasnagar Service Centre. I was pretty much satisfied with my service. Let me talk with the service centre guy in other way. Let's see what he has to say 😉Originally posted by H8ndy View Postnope its my 3rd service, but the fact is I have trust issues with this centre after all my 3 services and I was thinking to go some other service centre but this thing happened which made me think about it 😅

Okay an update. Contacted Bajaj helpline 011-33992453. They confirmed that it won't void the warranty and you can do any of your service in any authorized service center all over India.Originally posted by nishiparate View PostOk.
