Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
But 1890 kms for 2nd service is too early isnt it?Originally posted by Amrit.Singh View Post
Mine too had minor vibes between 4-5k rpms but after the second service at 1890 kms, it's hardly noticeable. Bike is getting smoother day by day.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It kills the riding experience to be honest. I sold my old FZS because it started to vibrate, that atleast on higher rpm and on higways when doing constant 80's. But coming to FZ 25 and when this vibrates post 65 or 70kmph kills it all. Anyway has anyone wrote to yamaha about it and got a response? I am planning to write it to them.. will post it if i get a response.Originally posted by krishan..... View PostSame problem with me dude before 1st my bike is smooth but after 1st service there a lot of vibration feel at handler and footpegs, in neutral condition the mirrors shakes a bit and till 60 the bike feel very smooth bit after that it vibrates a lot till 90kmph my 2nd service is coming lets see how talented those svc guys are...

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Agree its a marketing gimik, but there are 1000's of review and none that i have watched report this. Even our xbh member kiran and sachin (vroom with KS) made a review after their north east ride and they didnt report this either. May be it settles down over a long period of time or its just few lot that has issue.Originally posted by krishan..... Coule be some warp in the brake. Or else, could be something lodged inside the calipers. Get it washed, if it doesn't go, get it checked.Originally posted by Abhilash831989 View Postlittle help
My bike is 6 days old, i have found my front wheel is not free, when i rotate the wheel by Hand there is slight scratching sound on disc near calipers.
how can i resolve it.
PS : i have not done any panic braking till now.

Some amount of interference Quite common with disk braking systems, nothing to worry. As you ride, tolerance will increase. If wheel is not able to rotate at all then go to service centreOriginally posted by Abhilash831989 View Postlittle help

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
i recently took test ride of fz25. they didn't have any left so provided staff owned fz25 which had 38xx kms on odo. couple of things from it-
1. bike is not smooth at all. as soon as it crosses 3k rpm it vibrates like hell till redline. even my 10 year old 125cc bajaj is smoother than this. they said it's normal. ( what the heck ?)
2. headlight isn't really that bad as people say it is. problem is the temperature, it has white leds so it disappears in yellow light. maybe yellow film can fix this issue. but showroom guys were saying 2018 model has some improvements and its closer to yellow color. but i'll believe when I see it.
3. that torque , omg.
4. no need for 6th cog, 5th is really tall. ( at least for me)
5. bike had auxiliary leds installed on leg guard. so i asked if it voids warranty of electrical system of bike ? they said as long as you install and connect charger/leds/etc. directly to the battery it only voids battery warranty alone. you still get full warranty on everything else.
6. gear shifts are way way smooth.
7. riding position is very comfortable. but rear suspension is very hard.
8. brakes are good enough and i didn't feel the need for ABS.
overall i like the bike, but those vibrations are too much and doesn't really match what people are saying about it all over interwebz. maybe it was that particular bike ? idk. will test ride again a new bike once new stock arrives.Fz25 2018 (ABS retrofitted)

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Vibration is a big concern with FZ25. It starts around 4.5rpm and continues there on. It is annoying to ride continuously for more than 50km.Originally posted by slopegatri View Posti recently took test ride of fz25. they didn't have any left so provided staff owned fz25 which had 38xx kms on odo. couple of things from it-

Mine is a 2018 model and lights are okie for city usage, never took it out in highways for a long period hence will reserve my comments there.
Gear shifts will be hard, but smothens out as km's passes by. My odo is 1100 and its smooth now.
Though 5th one is tall, You will feel the need of 6th gear in higways. But thats getting used to stuff..

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
oh man, that's the most important thing for me. guess i'll go for rtr200, i have ridden an rtr200 which had 21xxxkm on odo. and it was pretty smooth at least till 8k rpm. although it has a bit lower acceleration compared to fz25. but it's enough for me. it also has big 200w alternator compared to 70w of fz25, so i can anything without worry.Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostVibration is a big concern with FZ25.
