Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
What was your odometer reading when you switched to Motul? And what do you suggest, should the switch be made or not? Are the vibrations too much? Where are the vibrations present?Originally posted by hemanta View PostThe coin rattle happens at around 5000rpm. It goes along with increased vibrations set the same rpm. I tried motul 7100. The coin rattle went away. Hut there was a drawback. Bike became a bit more viby. Not at 5000rpm like earlier. But throughout the rev band. But only slightly so

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I wouldn't suggest 7100. Vibes increase throughout the rev range. The increased vibes present in 5000rpm in yamalube is gone, and is replaced with little bit vibrations throughout the rev range. I'll try 5100 next, or shell. I had switched to motul at 8000kms

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Completed 6550 km yesterday and took bike to city today . The vibration at 5k rpm has vanished all of a sudden. Don't know what has changed. But there is tappet noise as always and after 5k rpm engine is not smooth like lower rpms. But buzz has reduced considerably.

I think the engine has set properly now.

From past month I was riding the bike hard since I travel on highway to work. Maintaining speed of 90 to 110 and opening the full throttle when road was empty. May be the reason for reduced vibration.

I agree with you...mine is just 1500kms old... constantly revving at 5k rpm and vibration turned into slight buzz... but its still predominant... will irritate in long rides..Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostCompleted 6550 km yesterday and took bike to city today . Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Earlier i had issue with handle bar (or so they say) and they repalced it with a new one. But i still have some wierd feeling while riding. It appears that my left handle is bit higher than the right and my bike feels like riding tilted to the right... i double checked and triple checked... my front tyre wear is uniform and dead center... really confused...

Check the triple tree setting and the racer set condition. Did you suffer a strong bump to the front?Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostEarlier i had issue with handle bar (or so they say) and they repalced it with a new one.
