Did anyone changed their horn ? I feel this oem horn is meagre to be used in a 250cc motorcycle. I really like KTM D250’s horn though.

Did you put that on the existing wiring or with a relay?

Check the link it is the video by powerdrift about engine oils maybe this would help a lot of people who think that fully synthetic oil isn't good for new engine....

The example used in this Video is RE.
RE service centers are not filling Engine oil as per RE recommendations and not as per manual, because, Filling engine oil as per Manual is damaging oil seals in engine so, they are under filling engines, letting them to excessive heat. If they fill engine oil correctly, oil seals go kaput and owner cries. if oil is under filled, all parts take a hit from excessive heat and again owner cries. No matter what, owner cries. Thats the engineering reality as per manufacturer (check RE thread)

Lol. Power Drift should honor warranty for all those affected. Because, they are recommending.

Some want to take a different track and go with FS. No one is objecting. you go ahead.
I burned my hands earlier, so gave my recommendation. My learning cant be yours, so you have to learn again. My experience was with a older vehicle, so, your case could be different too. ATB.

Just one sentence for FS oil in new engines. And its recommendation?

I have changed to Roots vibromini Set.
They are good for city and sufficient for Highway

Just got back from my 1st service.

                        Cost:1085/- incl GST@18%
                        Oil: 676
                        Filter: 159/-
                        Chain lube: 250/-
                        Km: 536

Experience: 50/50 staff were not super attentive. Probably because they were still in a Diwali mood and the counter ladies doing the billing were upset that many other places had holidays and they had to work.

Anyways I reported 3 issues to the guy who made the job card.

                        1. The console going blank and engine shutting off - they initially tried to put it to a contact issue and said a spray etc will solve it. I pressed them further to which they finally admitted the part was under warranty and could be replaced but they didn't have the console in stock. They assured me that if I continued to have the issue after the service to let them know and they would replace the console under warranty.

                        2. Hard Gear shift: they serviced it and adjusted the clutch setting which sorted the issue.

                        3. Tapping sound: he didn't seem to bothered about it and said it was common to this model and that there would be light tapping sound. All bikes of this model were making it. He said he would look into it. Post service it has reduced in intensity.

They also didn't bother about the fact that I changed the horn to the dual horns for Pulsars

Good job mate. One doubt, will this change of horns void the electrical warranty of the bike?

                          Cheers!

                            Dear fellow xbhpins,
I finally got my black fz 25 which is a damn masculine bike!! Done 200 kms so far and here are my thoughts -
✓Love the torque on this machine. I upgraded from an RTR 160 and believe me I am not a bit disappointed in the pick up department
✓The exhaust note is amazing, especially when you rev the throttle. I am just riding this bike by throtelling upto 4.5k then letting the reves drop down to near ideal and then rev it back till 4.5k
✓The suspension is too good. My RTR used to make me feel every bump and porthole, this bike is way better in terms of riding comfort
✓The light is adequately bright for city rides. No issues. The horns are ok too
✓Flickable and nimble, as good as my old RTR 160

                            Coming to the negatives-----
^Coin ratelling noise from my engine. Don't know why this is happening. Any idea fellow owners? Any suggestions?
^Seat a bit on the harder side

Also guys can you recommend the best fz 25 service centre in Pune? Any wp group for fz owners in Pune? Please add me -7798868123

I currently own classic 350 & using Motul 5100 15W50 as my engine oil(3 mnths ago) ,my engine is smoother than before& dissipate less heat(my observation).
only problem is loud tappet noise which is there from my 2nd service & svc guys unable to do anything regarding that(with my loud exhaust tappet noise can only be heard at lower rpm)

Same happened to me too, after 1st service(730km) the tappet used to creep in only after 2kms(approx) .
Now the problem reduced significantly(3400km) tappet comes alive only after 80+ kms(previous observation) with very less intensity.

What is the best solution for the headlamp? I adjusted the throw, but still its not at all bright even when I compare to scooty's halogen light. I thought of change the LED to halogen, but I don't know whether it look good and how much WATT is going to be consumed. If any one have good ideas, please do.
