Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Check tie rod once. Double click is usually associated with itOriginally posted by Joe29 View PostEither my gearbox is getting better or else I am adapting to the not so smooth shifts
. Two doubts:
1.I have double clicks when shifting, mainly upshifts. When I change gears uptil 3rd, the gear lever clicks twice, very small clicks but perceivable, before slotting into the next gear. I won't say the force required to upshift is hard, but definitely not smooth. I keep doubting if the gear has fallen. If anyone has a know how or experienced this, is it a problem with the chain or clutch?. Slowly getting used to the false neutrals in traffic now.
2. And how many Km's should I run before the gearbox stops making a huge thunk sound for downshifts and a smaller clunk sound for upshifts
.

When your eyes get bombarded with powerful high beam, I'd say it is a must to get some visibility of the roadside. Often noticed that pedestrians have the ability to disappear in front of the oncoming high beam light and you, scarry indeed!Originally posted by 93nikhilverma View Postanyone using Allextreme 6 Led aux lights?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If some of you remember i was having some issue with my chain as there were marks on bike's chain... so i posted it here many of you asked me to get it checked and many advised it was the chain rubber issue....
so today finally svc changed my chain rubber kit... which was not covered under warranty because of being a consumable product... but since my bike was running only of 3600 kms I somehow convinced them to get a replacement free of charge...
I'm posting the pics of the new rubber (installed already) and old rubber (detective) and chain looks clean and nice now...
Thank you everyone for advising me for this... thanks alot..

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
okk sure brother... as soon as they arrive... I'd probably fit them myself... just figuring out where to fit... only 2 options are there either handle bars or leg guards... they can't be fitted on shock absorber's bolts because of the side panels of fz25 ....Originally posted by abhijithpreddy View PostDo update us about how they are ....a little review perhaps !
I'd fit them myself... let's see I'll update soon ok...

What was the cost of that Rubber part? And any reason why it was touching the chain? did you get any explanation for this from SVC?Originally posted by 93nikhilverma View PostIf some of you remember i was having some issue with my chain as there were marks on bike's chain... so i posted it here many of you asked me to get it checked and many advised it was the chain rubber issue....

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
the cost of the rubber was ₹119 all inclusive tax...Originally posted by kris123456 View PostWhat was the cost of that Rubber part? And any reason why it was touching the chain? did you get any explanation for this from SVC?
but mine was done free of cost... i asked the reason but he said... maybe the rubber was defective... that's all he said... i asked him to check gor other reasons as well.. he said no... everything is fine...
