Does rtr 160 4v has better low end and refinement than 200 4v? Really?

Lower displacement resistance means better low end grunt, hence why you'll notice the Duke 200 to be more thumpy than the Duke 390 just off stand still, same with the Pulsar 180 vs Pulsar 220 and similar iterations.

Initially I didn't liked the 200 4v from tvs , but the new Apache 160 4v is far better than many brands and bikes !!

Engine refinement is top notch , good amount of torque and many wondering changes for sure.

However I hope gear ratios are little bit shorter .

Refinement: The 160 4v really feels refined compared to the 200 4v. It may be partly due to the bassy grunt (ohh man... you must take it to a narrow street and maintain 3-4k rpm... you'll love the way how it resonates and fills you heart with an odd sense of satisfaction) of the 200 4v which is not seen in the 160 4v.

Low end: I'm not sure if it has a better low end but at slow speeds, you tend to rev it more owing to the refinement and lighter throttle and combined with the shorter gear ratios, it feels more responsive when filtering through the traffic.

I feel even the current gear ratios are a bit short. Even shorter gear ratios will leave you longing for a 6th cog

But I do heard that it's giving a decent mileage in city limits , b2b traffic you can expect around 40 ~ meanwhile in highways the mileage will be around 50~kmpl.

Anyhow the real world mileage differs from by many factors :

                              1.Way of riding
                              2.Bodyweight

Although body weight is not a major concern , the way of riding is definitely a deal breaker !!

If you ride under sane driving conditions you can expect a good mileage (proper shifting of gears, linear acceleration , minimal braking).

                              Cheers.
