Previously i used to have helmet lock, but over time found that leaving the helmet along with bike exposing to harsh elements of nature degraded helmet pretty quickly. So with the new helmet i carry it with me unless its a 15 mins or less stop for shopping etc. In such situations i just place helmet over the mirror.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
The only negative I can tell of the RTR 200 4v as well as the RTR 160 4v is the large turing radius. It is perfectly okay for the city rides but to take a turn in a small space, you'll have to push the bike back and forth many times.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostThat's great,
How do you find in the U-Turns ?
Is it nimble to do so flick !, Coz i found little uneasy during a U-Turn during test rides apart from that bike is a gem !! [emoji106][emoji1][emoji123]

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
Yeah that's because of longer wheelbase , the turning radius is a bit more compared to other bikes !!Originally posted by ayrus View PostThe only negative I can tell of the RTR 200 4v as well as the RTR 160 4v is the large turing radius. But there's a advantage too !
Larger the wheelbase the stability also remains high and the bike won't jerk off much in bad roads with potholes !!

Yeah we need to use it whenever, wherever needed.Originally posted by rakeshchn View PostPreviously i used to have helmet lock, but over time found that leaving the helmet along with bike exposing to harsh elements of nature degraded helmet pretty quickly. Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
Wheelbase has nothing to do here. A 2-5 cm increase in wheelbase will not increase the turning radius by a few meters. Here the handlbar turn is locked to some 35° to the either side. In FZ, it is like something 45°. It is what that makes the difference.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostYeah that's because of longer wheelbase , the turning radius is a bit more compared to other bikes !!

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
NS around 10.5sOriginally posted by ayrus View PostDo you have the 0-100 timings of any other bikes in the 150-250 cc range?? Especially the FZ25 and NS200
Edit: Also the 0-60 timings of the 160 4v and 200 4v
RTR200 is 11.5s
FZ25 around 9s (However loose out after 125, badly)
0-60kmph
3.6s for RTR200
~4s for the RTR160 4V (The engine is much quicker revving and doesn't lose out on power after 9000 like the 200 4V)
110 & 130 have different size rims.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostHi ayrus JS16 is it possible to have 150/70 tyre in Apache 160 4v ?
If not !!
Then how's it possible to have a 110 and 130 section on same rims in drum brake and dual disc variants?
2.5" for the 110 & 3.5" for the 130.
The max you can go is 140/70/17 but then it makes no sense. 130/70 is more than adequate.
You can definitely fit the 150/60 but then you'll have chicken strips and tyre will raise up like a wall on top.

IDK where did you got those lean angles and info coz I couldn't find anywhere .Originally posted by ayrus View PostWheelbase has nothing to do here. I don't think so handlebar is locked or something else as you've mentioned !!
But both the bikes perform good at corners and the apache 160 4v is a way better than Fz in cornering !
If the handlebar is locked or if it had lower lean angle, then how's it possible about the outraging performance in corners??

They're not lean angles. They're approximate angles the handlebar can be turned from the mid position.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostIDK where did you got those lean angles and info coz I couldn't find anywhere .

Locked doesn't mean an actual lock. It is the maximum possible angle of turn.

Wow! This is comprable to it's 200cc segment in terms of performance. It'll be interesting to see a drag race between 160 4v and xtreme 200r.Originally posted by #bpk View Post

Anyhow it's sales figures aren't much !
While Apache and pulsars sale figures are skyrocketing !
Waiting to see a drag between Apache 160 & 200 4v respectively !

If we want to know the accurate angle of the turning radius. Here you go https://itstillruns.com/calculate-mo...s-8493202.htmlOriginally posted by ayrus View PostWheelbase has nothing to do here.
