Guys after a week almost, yesterday I tried my beast pushing him to 90 kmph gradually from 60 in a highway .

Is that wrong , or short speed runs are good to engines?

      I've noticed these speeds
      RPM@ SPEED
      4K 50-60
      5K 60-70
      6K 70-80
      7K 80-90

I've been on this line and after few secs I slowed down, maintaining around 50 for 20 kms

*The beast was butter smooth, vibes free , Better heat management I hope so . [emoji1360][emoji41][emoji7]

**I generally ride at speeds below 50 during the past and now ODO is 150Kms

      Inputs are welcome !!!

      Cheers,
      Ride safe

I think you did the right thing...for the first 1000 Kms keep RPM variations gradual and dont sustain higher RPMs above 5000 for long periods. Especially till first oil change.

BTW today is hartal day in Kerala and roads were practically empty. I had a blast riding to office and it was fun to push the bike around corners at high speeds. I will still need to work on my riding skills and practise more to be able to extract the most fun out of this bike. I had been riding for 15 years and only now feeling that my skills are falling short. For those who are looking to improve biking skills I suggest reading and watching videos on Counter steering and Body positioning when riding corners at higher speeds. It is helping me a lot.

Drain the oil. Fill a mineral oil (available for Rs.300) also change the oil filter. Change to whatever oil you want after 1000 kms with this oil. Ride in low gear. Maintain 4-5k rpm; neither go high nor below. Then take the bike to the highways and maintain 80 kmph. Accelerate gradually to 100 kmph and come back to 70-80 kmph. Do this for 2 weeks. If you feel you're stressing the bike too much, then come down a bit.

If oil change is due in the 2nd service, try this after the 2nd service.
          Try this @bpk

Yeah definitely it's all about physics and mechanics !!

We should do the shifting, clutching, braking whenever needed and I tried trail braking , engine braking it works like a pro [emoji41][emoji1360].

And it's rainy season are ,the rear disc slightly started noise !!

[emoji45]Today I was able to hear that ! Any suggestions to avoid that noise!

*As of now little 'squiky' noise arises when I apply the rear disc brakes !

              Mileage update.
In my last post, I said that I set my Trip 1 at 0 after it got in reserved state and filled 5 liters of Petrol from shell.
              It covered 233.5 KM's.
              233.5 / 5 = 46.7 KM's.
So, it returned 46 km mileage, which is great in my view.
I am yet to do first service. I have completed 405 KM's till now.

That's good and I wonder this beast will return around 50+ in highways easily.

                How was your driving conditions?

                On busy /city traffic

                Or

                Empty highways?

Busy city road. Driving speed between 35 to 55 kmph. In morning, I do touch 70-75 seldomly. No sudden acceleration unless needed.
Gear change at rpm when the shifting is very smooth without a minor jerk. I go by feel, not by RPM.

                      OOPS !!

I 've tried to accelerate the beast from second gear in the signal !!
I was about to stall him LOL !
                      Luckily managed to move then.

But in pulsars it was easy and hassle free Operation , meanwhile here I can't!

BTW , FIRST TWO GEARS ARE SHORT !

Bro.... Please don't use blue color. It really hurts the eyes to read blue letters in AMOLED displays that have 1 blue pixel for every 2 red/green pixels. Use red or green instead.

                          Sure [emoji1360]
Is purple ok ? Because green and red will be more inconvenient than blue !!

Does the amoled displays have that much pixel intensities or you've modified brightness??

Mine is a 1480×720 resolution 5.6" device with AMOLED (J6). On the white background, blue letters seem okay but on grey/black background, the blue letters appear blurred as the number of blue subpixels is lesser. I'd explain more but this is a motorcycle forum and this is getting off-topic. For more info, google "pentile matrix".
