Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
I hope that the same remains for the 160 4v drum variant as well. Or they might just discontinue it in 2019 due to the BS-VI and FI rules.Originally posted by #bpk View PostYes, hornet abs std. Model[My Motorcycles]
2019 - Honda xBlade Non-ABS (2018)

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
I hope that most of those vehicles will have ABS. It's almost December and there has been no news of any of them launching with ABS.Originally posted by #bpk View PostYeah, we also have upcoming xblade abs, pulsar classic 150 abs, sz rr abs, unicorn 150/160 abs, v 15 abs , achiever , xtreme 150, fzs std abs etc.[My Motorcycles]

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
If I am right, 160 4v doesn't get tyre options !! (STOCK TYRES: TVS Remora)Originally posted by Bismaya View PostStrange how I never noticed it before, until yesterday when I took a test ride of the RTR 160. And inspite of being heavier than Gixxer and FZ, it doesn't feel heavy. Lacks the bite of the radial MRF's used on Gixxers though. I didn't test ride the model with the Pirelli's. Just the Carb model with rear drum brake.
Seems as good as MRF .
*It's 200 4V and 310 RR gets lot of options .

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
TVS uses their own patented petal rotor disc Brakes (not bad and its okayish). Even though pulsar uses Bybre ,the one in Apache is better.Originally posted by Bismaya View PostI didn't feel much difference between the brakes on the this bike and the Pulsars (not sure what TVS uses). The Missing brakes on Hondas have a different feel. And the Bybes on Gixxer and FZs have a similar feel, although Gixxer has more bite.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
Say any abs bike they should do the better capabilities as main job of ABS is to prevent disc lock !Originally posted by Bismaya View PostI find the 160 4v brakes to be more stable and confidence inspiring. I've never driven a Hornet ABS, so my observation is based upon the old 2016-non ABS variant.
A bit of offtopic here but are there any ABS variant of sub 200cc bikes that come with a rear drum brake (without disc; front ABS)? Hornet is the only one I can think of. I sincerely hope that the 160 4v is launched with a rear drum and Front ABS combination.
* So can't compare Hornet ABS with Apache 160 4v (non-ABS) !!

Stop triple posting dude. It gets annoying. And yes, the 160 4v did get tyre options in some places when it was released. It was marketed on a lot of automobile review/news websites as well.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostIf I am right, 160 4v doesn't get tyre options !! (STOCK TYRES: TVS Remora)
