Hope this helps. Ride like there is no tomorrow... CheersThanks brothers.. I was more inclined towards FI, but enquired at 2 dealerships here in kolkata.. No stock of Fi ABS bikes.. one is telling it wont be available before november and the other one is saying 1.5 months.. says of the Fi production is not happening.. Which sounds weird.Originally posted by dhivakar17 View PostGoing for FI version will give you
1) better mileage
2) better throttle response
3) on 160 4v, FI version comes with 55W headlamp unit and white backlit console which gives additional gear position indicator. Power figures are marginally higher than Carb.
But the flipside as mentioned by everyone is service personnel trained to deal with FI bikes are very few and replacing fuel injector is costlier than replacing Carb.
I'm hoping this situation regarding service personnel will improve once BS6 norms come in as all bikes should be FI. If you are going for FI, choose a good dealer and check personally if they have trained personnel and required service kit to treat FI bikes.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
Bro.. ditch those dealers who say production has not started yet.. Phone other main dealers from TVS page.. I'm a proud owner of FI ABS version of 160 4v.. the beast is available and it might take some time depending upon the efficiency of the dealer to get your bike delivered..!!Originally posted by redearth View PostThanks brothers.. Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
Fi should be fine as long as your dealer is able to service and take care of it. Most of the dealers AFAIK, here in this xBhp thread as well people tend not to be inclined towards FI and Svc people are inexperienced with FI. I'm there is a problem and you'll be ***kedOriginally posted by dhivakar17 View PostBro.. ditch those dealers who say production has not started yet.. Phone other main dealers from TVS page.. I'd like to share some pics here, which happened during my last trip !!!
A pleasure Dawn somewhere at outskirts of CHENNAIAnd This pic was taken the before day i.e during sunset at OUTER RING ROAD ...
When I was with my friends and their bikes too... !!
One of my friend's Avenger 220 was modified with K&N AF and an aftermarket exhaust too. Damn God , that sound was amazing .
