Dude, I meant the 180.I know both of the bikes have the same front and rear brakes. But the rear brake pad of the 180 will experience faster wear-out for same amount of kms in similar conditions as compared to the 160s due to the 17 inchers!!

Yeah it accelerates really good and has decent top end. Post-120 it takes more time to reach 130 and beyond.

I think so but why would anyone want to fit on the RTR as it will be anyway be more expensive than the RTRs.

                Use multiquote option, Renny!!

My FI accelerates solid till 118 then it straps back and the pull is lost.
Then there is gradual increase which ends at 133-135.

May be it'll improve the bite and will fade after more time, let me put this in R15's thread to ask the cost of it's rear pads.
BTW what's the cost of the rear pads of RTR?

And yes i missed doing the multiquoting.

I use the front almost exclusively and after 15k kms, they're only half gone. However, in spite of rarely touching the rear, they've almost fully worn down and the disc is almost 1mm thinner too. Some alignment issue. The damn svc fools have NEVER even set the chain adjusters right on both sides.

When i checked 2 weeks ago both front and rear pads were Rs.340 each set.

Need not be an alignment issue totally.

The pads are constantly in touch with the disc. That keeps generating heat.

The rear disc doesn't get cooling effect like the front and that shows its effect.
Next, the rear pads are made soft so that it only aids in stopping and doesn't lock up the wheel. Both the factors put together, It is normal for rear disc pads to wear out soon even with very limited usage.

Always do the chain adjustment, clutch play adjustment at home.
                        They never do it properly.

125 comes easily but not quickly!..
After that it struggles! It's really surprising to see when you guys hit 136 or 138kmph mark in your 180s..What's more surprising is Renny's FI showing 133kmph! Why did I buy the 180 then????
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

RTR's Digital speedo has loads of errors!!!!!!!
what is 133 on the speedo, in real world it'll be 120-122kmph.
DUE to the FUEL injection the top end rush in 160FI is slightly more 'lively' than the 180.

                              • Hey..

Hey Guys, sorry to jump in between.
I am kinda having a problem(cording to me). I dont exactly know but after riding for few kms, at a speed of 60 to 70 kmph(and at a higher speed although i feel it but not able to hear it coz of the screeming sound of the motor) i hear a very annoying buzzing sound may be from the front fairing or from the left side of the handlebar or may be i can say from the left front. Is it normal with RTR 180 coz as i remember initially there was nothing but only after doing a stretch of 260 km this problem started.
Even got her serviced but still problem is there. May be something is loose and m not able to figure it out.
Please guys help me on this coz this sound is killing me.
