    • Don't really know the exact time for 60 to 0 stoppage time for ABS version but i do know it also stops in a heartbeat!!! the stoping distance i guess is about 10 m i guess...not sure though...but it must be less than that!!!

      PS: I am not exaggerating
When I Ride my bike I don't feel like a common man.
      I feel special.
I feel something which is beyond words.

        • Hgh RPM hiccups

          Hi Guys,

Good to see so many new RTR owners. Have been offline and thus Off bike for quite some time.
I remember Lijok had some hiccups with this bike after DC conversion.
I am also experiencing heavy jerks (engine switches off and then comes back) above 8k rpm. SVC adjusted CO setting and checked TPS too. They say TCI unit will have to be checked. What could be the problem?

          • Update:
Now using Shell Advance Ultra 10W40 (700 INR after discount from my dealer). The Best oil i've used till date on my RTR Engine smoothness and response is just amazing. And this one protects the engine internals to the max AFAIK.
Only drawback i see is that the level is dropping slightly after doing close to 500km. Need to buy a pack for topping up purpose ASAP.

P.S. Any one (especially new owners) who like to switch to this one Must wait at least 7000km as this is a full synthetic engine oil.

            Ride Safe.

You are tempting me to go for it .Really heard some nice reviews with this Shell FS oil, even the TVS SVC manager advised for this one!I think I will go with this one next time.As per your reviews,I assume its more better than Motul 5100T oil.
The part in bold-I guess its the Shell's RCE technology you are referring to for max engine protection, right?

This is the reason I am backing off from converting my ride to full DC.

Am also using Shell FS advance but I got it here for 650Rs Only reason I switched to shell is because its 10W40 and looks like its a good decision.
It doesnt feel like RTR any more. Practically no vibes @70s which I used to feel a lot earlier.
And my speedo sensors gone kaput It shows 0kmph most of the time
Will this be covered in warranty ? I have covered 15k kms .SVC mech told electronic parts are not covered and I need to spend 450 on it

R.C.E = Reliability of oil-performance, Control, Enjoyable ride
This technology is available in Shell Advance AX3, AX5, AX7 and Ultra. Kudos to Shell for that. In addition to R.C.E., Shell's claiming ultimate protection and oil-performance reliability with the Ultra, because of the full synthetic tech used in it.

Yes, Ultra is way better than the M5100 ester 4T. Though the later is superior when pitted against Advance AX7.

P.S. Time to get the latest xBhp Mag

And seriously guys, does any body have a schematic of that type? Or does anybody know some one who is good with our bike wiring in Pune?
Coz according to My nearest SVC head, no one is capable of doing so in the SVC and might cut the wrong wire. Aren't they supposed to be trained for our bikes?

Some people on this forum say Shell ultra is a highly refined 'mineral oil' and does not contain any esters, dont know whom to believe!
