Its advisable to change gradually. Yes TVS will say that it would void the warranty (here they do). People have different opinion for diff brands, but I am still using the TVS Tru4, Motul is good too.

    @ALL : R.I.P my piston rings

When i go through poth holes, yes, even at low speeds, could feel a weird sound from the front forks coupled with very less cushioning. It's very annoying I've been experiencing this since a long time. I've replaced the front fork oil, but to no avail. Going to the SVC for the 3rd time to rectify this !

What could be the problem? Waiting for any feedback
i also had the same problem, just tell the mach to put the spring inside front fork upside down both and put some fork oil thats it 5 minuts job..

            • damn... how did that happen? Did your oil level drop below required level? Piston rings dont go kaput just like that.
Dont run the bike like this. If its the piston rings alone, immediate check can save you from having to replace the cylinder kit etc... i mean, if you run the bike in this condition, it could damage the cylinder walls (ie if we still dont know what happened exactly)

              • @Lijok : Yes the engine oil level dropped (as I mentioned few pages earlier), I am not using the bike now. Thanks buddy to let me know about the walls, will get it checked as well.
BTW have you been joel-ed again? I hope the problems that you has are not there anymore

Hi Lijok, I am also planning to get my bike joelled. Just wanted to check with you if you experienced any issues with the bike after installing the performance enhancers

Let me give you a short history.
First time, I got the FFE from Joel.. installed it. The stupid mech did not tighten the bolts properly. There was leak at the exhaust header. Once that fixed... no issues.
Then i got the big bore kit. Went to cochin to have it installed from a 'reputed' mech. The stupid (yeah, again) screwed up the piston ring installation. Around 2k kms into the new big bore the rings went kaput.
then I reverted to stock, still had issues.
Finally, last november end, i rode to banglore to Joels place. Got a new semi-forged racing piston, rebored the big bore cylinder kit, new FFE with DB killer. Installed all that, rode back to TVM (around 800kms) of run in, well almost
No issues so far... which I attribute to perfect installation at joel's....
Been running on this config since Dec 2, 2011. Though I've not had the opportunity to test the 0-60 or top speed, I've (relatively) easily achieved 132kmph and 4.3 s 0-60 INSIDE city limits.
Joels mods have been proven to be good. but as with any mods, you should be ready to take risk (aka spend money) in case something goes wrong.

                        Listen to your heart bro...

                          • Wass up Guys..
Here are the pics of the Suzuki GS stock air filter. The difference is clearly felt, the bike now pulls cleanly when given sudden throttle at lower rpms and reaches the redline more quicker than before! All in all,its definately worth trying.
