One question though, in this image have You attached Helmet lock? Because I don't see it in other images. And if You did, how did You attach as The Bike has Split ones.
Ah, you've got Eagle eyes GarryOriginally posted by Garry_Menace View PostAs the reg. no. is not displayed by "seven-segment display"
Its not his bike
Neither the helmet is an LS2

@Mirhawk, that's my friend's bike. Yeah you can have a helmet lock fit to the split grabs too. I had one as well. But instead of that, you can get a Cable lock and fix it somewhere near your handle (wind it twice and it wont hit your tank!)

An update: The Vibrations on My bike in 50 to 60kmph have totally gone!! Earlier used to feel a few ones, but now none!
Also an OT update. Had been discussing about the Security System earlier here, I finally got it. Here are a few pics. Will get it set from SVC,if they do, so as not to void warranty.Apache RTR 180 Bike Parts CatalougeOriginally posted by MirhawkI couldn't repair the Brakes, so I just made the Horn more louder!

RPM Meter Faulty
Guys,Originally posted by deviil View PostHi all.
As discussed earlier my RPM meter was acting funny. It first started by going beyond the zero point in anti clock wise and would show me lower RPM reading when riding the bike.
Took it to the Service center, the mech winded it to zero and it was working fine then, after everything when we tested the bike the RPM meter started acting funny again. He said the RPM meter is gone bad and the entire console needs to be replaced. This would cost Rs. 3550 + i would loose all the KMs on my bike due to a new console. I didnt replace it
Then after a few days the meter started runnning anti clockwise and had gone completely wack!!! Finally the RPM meter bar came of the pivot and is now lying in the console dead.
I was recommended to get the meter repaired at any mechanic who can fix it for under 1000. Any help with details for a good mechanic who can help me fix my RPM meter and not screw around with the console. Also some one who is not expensive on the pocket. Looking for options in Mumbai
Any help on the issue mentioned above? Need to get this issue resolved as i am facing issues with getting my shifting right.

Thanks! Even I don't know how it happened! The current State of My bike is:
4.6k on ODO (Not Much of a Rider, I know!)
3rd servicing done.
Running on Motul 30004t 20W40 Mineral oil and normal petrol.
Maybe the oil takes time to settle in?

Motul 7100 FS Update:
3000 kms done after the oil change. the bike still feels new. i'm wondering if I should wait for another 2K kms more or get it changed (since its the first shift I made to FS). Any thoughts ?It's always better to lose a second in life than to lose life in a second!

You wont get single stickersOriginally posted by pranav_salieri View Postis there any other shop where i can get only RTR180 sticker???
you need to buy full set, last time I checked it was 400, and finally got some local sticker set for 200 , it looked the same, I didnt mind the quality as I wanted it for my helmet
I suggest you split it with some 160 owner(some of ur frineds perhaps) as they will be interested in that RTR stickers on scoops
@nisnth It should last till 4k without any problems.site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

Okies...
I will run it for another 2K then and later make a shift to 300VIt's always better to lose a second in life than to lose life in a second!

Why shifting to 300V? Aren't you happy with the 7100? With 300V, again we have a threat of the famous "oil-level-decreasing-mysteriously" syndromeOriginally posted by nisnth View PostOkies...
