Thanks yaar for the info. I will get in touch with the SVC to check the same as I'm kind of novice enough to do any DIY.

the SVC guys told me that the insurance compnay folks might ask me to scrap the bike for which the company will pay around 60-70% of the ID value. this is a possibility.
Will let you know tomorrow about what happens.

I was starring with my mouth wide open when the tyre shop guy told me that the "tyre is bent".. & the weird thing is that the wobble has reduced quite a bit on its own..!!
The oil leak has stopped.. Got 4 bolts re-threaded..Rode around 100km & still no sign of a leak.. Thank God..!! & TVS claims that the engine head might have to be replaced if it starts leaking & will cost 4-6K..!!

The carb. diaphragm costs INR650,(6 months back)..

That's you getting used to the wobble. Think about it... hehe
Glad to hear the oil leaks stopped. Let's hope it stays that way! I've given mine for rethreading too.

BTW, projector is just a piece of glass (lens) so its not going to adversely affect the batter or electricals, its the light source thats to be considered. As long as its running a halo, nothing to worry about. Yeah, the rust (look wise) of the exhaust at the manifold side is common and nothing to worry about. If you have any trusted mechanic, take him with you and ask him to check out the bike, take a test ride. If you buy it, replace that ****ing TVS tryes ASAP and you are all set. All the best!

Coincidentally, which tires are on the bike?

The tacometer stopped working on the way,it does the self check thing, then rests at zero, other than that no issues.
                  Going to wash+wax tomorrow.
Didn't check exactly but judging from the digital fuel gauge getting a mileage around 50.Expected that!

I think you are right..I'm getting used to the wobble..
When you give the bike for re-threading get all 4 bolts re-threaded & new packing / seal..Later it might start leaking & you might have to open the engine again..Get it done once n for all..(Atleast a hope..)

Actually I meant the Tyre only..Now even alloy.....!! I have the same confusion after hearing,"Tyre is bent" from a tyre repair guy.. " How can a tyre get bent and not restore itself back?" is the exact question still stuck in my head without any answer..

It is possible in rare cases. When it's hot and undergoes high torsional strain. But that wouldn't apply here. That is seen mainly in MX bike tries.

LOL, I meant, the repair guy must be trying to tell about alloy bend there. How can one even SAY that the tyre is bent :P
Alloys do get bent in some cases but not THAT easily. Such things are heard only during big head-on collisions and all *touchwood*
