From a fellow RTR owner to another RTR owner : Do go through NS ownership thread, you would have second thoughts. And just 20cc increase with almost very less power increase
Duke390 will be launched soon, that is much better "jump"
And if you think you are changing loyalties due to svc, "you are going the wrong way"...Sorry for being blunt, but until and unless you are a premium bike owner svc will still treat you as a normal commuting bike owner.......be it any company

    • Prateek - The situation of KTM is completely different, the after sale service of KTM is the best I ever saw... so it's a valid point to change bike due to servicing issues.

On the contrary... The RTR is something you can fall in love with. You can do every service yourself. It's very easy to maintain.

Then you have seen just one side of the coin . As I said until you are premium bike owner they will treat you "normally"... I wish Duke390 falls in "premium segment" for the svc people

          • I am not changing my bike for the SVC. My SVC is one of the best I guess. The mechanic is a true genius.
The reason I was thinking of selling was- 3.5 years is a long time with a bike. If I change to Duke/R15, The pillion would suffer. And @Prateek you rightly said, P200 is showing its true colours now. And a ripper like me, would kill the bike in no time.
I posted the add to sell my RTR in OLX. Got so many calls. Gave the some of them for test ride. Then suddenly to day, My love, for my bike re-aroused . I cant part from her. No way. I have denied 2 of my potential customers till now. waiting for the rest.
            Dropped the idea for now.

                • Sir, I may follow you there ... Financial crisis can only stop me from upgrading to 390, if i felt in love with it during test Ride.

But What If TVS come's up with 200 or 300 cc ? just asking to Prateek.

Why not keep the RTR with them too? I'm sure RTR will still be the best inside Delhi

I had my choice split b/w RTR 180 and P200NS. I went for RTR coz I thought ABS would be a good idea, and it indeed is as my life was saved, along with some others' sometimes and it proved its effectiveness. I thought P200NS' styling is not for the ubersexual, but the metrosexual. Also the power factor affected my decision. So Safety and Style pulled me to RTR and I could part with only that much money at my current stage. My friends suggested Duke, but I thought I'd wait before moving on to a 'more' powerful bike. I hope someone bring an affordable cruiser to our market.

Avenger, 220 cc is the only cruiser in the market which is affordable.
If you want a real cruiser(more torque) bike you have to shell out more.

When I am ready to move on from my beast, after 3-4 years, I'll be able to shell out a bit more. But if avenger ABS tgw likes are the 'cruiser' choices out there I'd better wait than choosing it.
