Prateek - The situation of KTM is completely different, the after sale service of KTM is the best I ever saw... so it's a valid point to change bike due to servicing issues.

On the contrary... The RTR is something you can fall in love with. You can do every service yourself. It's very easy to maintain.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View PostPrateek - The situation of KTM is completely different, the after sale service of KTM is the best I ever saw... so it's a valid point to change bike due to servicing issues.

. As I said until you are premium bike owner they will treat you "normally"... I wish Duke390 falls in "premium segment" for the svc people

I am not changing my bike for the SVC. My SVC is one of the best I guess. The mechanic is a true genius.
The reason I was thinking of selling was- 3.5 years is a long time with a bike. If I change to Duke/R15, The pillion would suffer. And @Prateek you rightly said, P200 is showing its true colours now. And a ripper like me, would kill the bike in no time.
I posted the add to sell my RTR in OLX. Got so many calls. Gave the some of them for test ride. Then suddenly to day, My love, for my bike re-aroused . I cant part from her. No way. I have denied 2 of my potential customers till now. waiting for the rest.
Dropped the idea for now.

Sir, I may follow you there ... Financial crisis can only stop me from upgrading to 390, if i felt in love with it during test Ride.
But What If TVS come's up with 200 or 300 cc ? just asking to Prateek.

Would someone enlighten me about this?Originally posted by sambit View PostP200 is showing its true colours now. And a ripper like me, would kill the bike in no time.
Why not keep the RTR with them too? I'm sure RTR will still be the best inside DelhiOriginally posted by prateek2210 View PostAnd thats a wise decision my friend. Finances is what stopped me last year. And I have grown old now 'hoping' that TVS would launch a bigger bikes. No faith now on themOriginally posted by shahbaz63 View PostSir, I may follow you there ... Financial crisis can only stop me from upgrading to 390, if i felt in love with it during test Ride.

Honestly we do need more options now.Originally posted by evyavan View PostOf course, More is never enough. I hope there are some real 'premium' bikes when I'm ready to move on from my beast.
Check the ownership thread, issues cropping up....too soonOriginally posted by pcgamer View PostWould someone enlighten me about this?
For city would have Duke...I am kind a harsh rider, RTR would not be able to handle anymore....I guessOriginally posted by pcgamer View PostWhy not keep the RTR with them too? I'm sure RTR will still be the best inside Delhi

I had my choice split b/w RTR 180 and P200NS. I went for RTR coz I thought ABS would be a good idea, and it indeed is as my life was saved, along with some others' sometimes and it proved its effectiveness. I thought P200NS' styling is not for the ubersexual, but the metrosexual. Also the power factor affected my decision. So Safety and Style pulled me to RTR and I could part with only that much money at my current stage. My friends suggested Duke, but I thought I'd wait before moving on to a 'more' powerful bike. I hope someone bring an affordable cruiser to our market.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostCheck the ownership thread, issues cropping up....too soon

Avenger, 220 ccOriginally posted by evyavan View PostI hope someone bring an affordable cruiser to our market.
is the only cruiser in the market which is affordable.
If you want a real cruiser(more torque) bike you have to shell out more.site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

When I am ready to move on from my beast, after 3-4 years, I'll be able to shell out a bit more. But if avenger ABS tgw likes are the 'cruiser' choices out there I'd better wait than choosing it.Originally posted by kantu View PostAvenger, 220 cc

Got a paid service done today.Cost along with tax:
oil filter:35rs
True4 900 ml:270rs Why is it 900 ml?As far as I know it should be 1000ml,right?
Seat cover:335 rs
Labour Charges:280rs
wash:100 rs(I said I did not want a wash, they did it anyway, managed to get water into somewhere, bike was chocking and going off when rpm dropped bellow 3k.After revving it hard many times now seems ok)
The previous guy drilled holes on air box.Noticed that today only. That explains the loud growl of my RTR.Going to cover the holes with cello tape for time being, replacing the entire thing next week.Hope too much dust did not enter.
Also they said clutch lever is gone, needs replacement.
The projector set up is running on which bulb,I have no idea, but really poor lighting.Planning to change to stock 35w bulbs.Any other option available. The stock yellow lights with blue angel eyes will look bad?
Also choke cable is stuck, not that I need to use it anyway
.
